I always getting around this length and end up cutting all my hair off I will say I don't have the desire to this time my hair is feeling healthier and staying out of it leaving it braided under a wig as of a week ago I decided not to use hair on my hair. I'm learning to be more gentle and take my time during detangling. for the last picture I didn't use a comb or even a detangling brush just straight finger detangling time consuming but worth it. so we shall see where I am in another 6 months

I did the aphogee 2 step protein treatment these are my results once I washed it out its had a lot more definition I have 4c hair so I don't see a whole lot of curls but this definitely moisturized my curls and defined them. This is my first protein treatment of any kind usually I just deep condition with my hair steamer but ill be incorporating this into my regiment

Length update. I literally haven't been doing anything to my hair it's under a wig most of the time I've been slacking on moisturizing it but it's doing ok so far I had to learn to keep my hands out of it. The last picture is a two day old twist out during that time I only wore my hair out for maybe a month. I promise to do better lol

the idea of this “baddie” fashion trend in which popular white girls on instagram and tumblr wear what black girls in the hood have and were literally wearing since 1995 and getting paraded for it irks my fucking soul. being bowed down to for being “thick” and wearing skintight leggings (that only seem to be in khaki or olive green?) with Adidas or Nikes and our bomber jackets that the little hood fashion boutique store on the corner loved to sell and overlined lips and overfilled faux thick browns and the big hoop earrings and our cornrows (boxer braids??) jesus christ? black girls and latinx girls too have been getting called ghetto for all of this for YEARS and somehow it managed to turn into 2015-2016′s top fashion trend without us getting an ounce of credit for it
