I'm trying to draw the outfits for my sonas but argh.. why must I choose one main outfit??
So I might have done mitosis on her (sona)
There's Chrysanths, (Chrys) who is like the gothic-idfk other side of Lily.
And there will probably be a million different other versions.. but rn their outfits are;
Chrys: I'm still trying to figure out her design in my head.. but all I know for now is that she wears this dress inspired by gothic fashion + churches + those really cool stained glass windows.
I like to think that she has either the glass pattern on her chest like those sleeveless turtlenecks with the top part semi-transparent (like the bust is covered but there's a sheer material above it?) with some Lolita fashion aspects mixed in (NOT THE BOOK!! THE ACTUAL FASHION)
I love assigning colors to characters so she gets the red + black combo with little parts of dark green mixed in. Like a rose.. but she's based on a Chrysanthemum. Okay so this flower is deeply connected to me, not only is it the flower associated with motherly shit (mommy issues yay) it's also my birth flower. AND red ones mean love and passion, which those feelings are deeply tied to Chrys.
And black Chrysanthemums aren't occurring in nature, they have to be dyed that way. I believe they mean mourning and grief, which is funny cause Chrys is literally dead.
Chrys is vampire coded, Lily is werewolf coded ya see?
Lily: her outfit is very simple at one glance but there's a lot of small details that you wouldn't notice at first glance. (I haven't figured out these details yet) The outfit is mostly casual, shorts, dress, stockings, and her signature cropped jacket/hoodie thing with a stained glass window design on the back. Her colors are softer, pinks and greens.
I like to think that if Lily were in the game, players would think of her as soft and kind only to be confused when she returns as Chrysanths. Lily is awkward, while Chrys loves to tease the shit outta people. She ain't got no filter that's for sure.
So there's this.. battle between the two? Mentally not physically (tbh I could see Lily punching the shit outta Chrys tho.)
As I'm writing this I notice how similar March + Evernight and Lily + Chrys is.. augh. They're friends your honor (Lily and March)
So Lily is obviously based off Lily of the Valley, that's been my name for years online (Lily Valley) and if you didn't know, Robin has a few details in her design of that same flower if I remember correctly..
So yeah that's a connection. That flower usually symbolizes a return to happiness, which is ironic because Lily is seen as a very depressed character and Chrys is visibly more happy. (Jokes on them Chrys is actually more unstable, which is saying a lot tbh)

So sometimes Lily of the Valley is said to symbolize luck and happiness, but let's look into that luck part. Green Chrysanthemums also symbolize luck. So you're probably wondering why I mention this at all? Lily has a lot of past attempts and she always survives them. So basically she keeps trying to die and the universe is like "nuh uh"
She's not immortal just bad at dying..
this is very creative, I love flowers so I find this so cute! I also love the sort of parallel between blade and lily! Blade is not immortal either, the world just refuses to let him die. So I think thatβs so fun and cute!
Overall, I love the detail and thought that you put into them! I havenβt put nearly as much detail into my own ocs so I find that hearing about others gives me drive to do so. I love this
