LONG, SOPPY POST ALERT !!!

Goodness me. Is it six years already? Over half a decade, one quarter of my whole life (no really…) quite literally dominated by this small whippy lady right here. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you. Six years ago, I made this blog as a side-project (i was adler-thewoman back then)— something that had stemmed from a stint writing as Irene on Om.egle immediately after ASiB was aired, flooding thousands of strangers with hastily typed ‘Not Dead’s and ‘Let’s have dinner’s. I had always enjoyed RPing, having written in the Skins, Doctor Who and Harry Potter fandoms for years— but had never (and bear with me on this because it sounds dumb) felt as at home as I did here with this tiny terror. I’m sure so many of you will relate when I say that I feel a very odd sense of pride watching the episodes back (again, and again…) and knowing that such an inconsequential thing has had such a large impact on my life. I’ve got to know some incredible people along the way, even meeting some of you in person and I am so so grateful for the friendships that have been formed. You’re all mother fucking precious and I love you dearly. (’scuse my language but you bloody well are.)

And now we get to this part. I feel as if I’m going to miss people out, and if I do, I apologise profusely (I do love you— please blame tumblr’s tagging system.) Now we may not all have threads, in the same breath we may have twenty. But please know that even if we don’t interact, I admire you and your muse profusely and would LOVE to write with you, or even just chat with you ooc. So without further ado, here we go…

It’s scary at times, but we’ve come to terms with it and— plot twist— it’s actually fucking brilliant. When we’re not fawning over John & Irene, or Sherlock & Irene, or… John, Sherlock & Irene (OT3 HOLY TRINITY K BONET BITCH) we’re fawning over Trixie & Katya (genuinely our alter egos) and if that’s not perfection then what is?
