King Eggsy

[[Been gone for awhile, but I’m back and hoping to get into the swing of things again.]]

“How we gonna do that, both of us already work our asses off.” He frowned and looked to Eggsy realizing how close they were. He leaned back into the arm of his brother, and propped his fit on the coffee table. “What happened ta us?”

Eggsy did and he knew Gary did...but minimum wage wasn’t helping shit. He rubbed the side of his face, “I thought about cammin’...like jackin’ off fer money and stuff.”  He figured he could make a good bit from that and at least he wasn’t out turning tricks on the street. “I don’t know, but I don’t want it to be like that again..”

“Shall we walk through the park?” he asked. “It’s such a lovely evening. It seems a shame to stick to the pavements…”

Eggsy nodded his head, “Yeah, sure. Sounds good.” He shifted and moved towards the park, giving a glance to Harry every so often to make sure he was still there. 

“Really, why do you say that? Is it because of me?” He didn’t frown, no he did the exact opposite and gave a little smirk. “I’ll get the intel,” he said as if their wasn’t another option. He was rarely needed for missions, unless their was a high potential for someone to get captured.

Eggsy took that opportunity to just collapse on the shitty half couch monstrosity that was in the hotel room.  “Good on ya, bruv.” He plucked up a magazine and looked to Mordred, “I don’t know. He probably thought we’d get along or wouldn’t beat the shit out of each other or somthin’.” 

Harry just stood there, staring at his new found wallet in disbelief. He even had to pick it up to know that it was the real deal. But still he was adamant that he had never, nor would he ever, hide something under a mattress. ❝I did not put it under there!❞

Eggsy laid a hand on Harry’s shoulder and smiled at him. “Yer gullible, bruv. I moved it.” He shook his head with a chuckle and pulled away, “Come on then. I think there’s food waitin’ in the kitchen.” 

“Well, I mean could be worse.” Eggsy shrugged his shoulders, “Seems like we’re stakin’ out some place and gettin’ intel.” Considering he was still recovering from V-Day and Merlin thought he needed to make friends. 

“…Besides, I feel that you will certainly fit the role…” he smiled softly. “…I hear you are yet to attend a meeting on time…”

“Well, I mean. They are usually out of the fuckin’ blue. I got other shit I do, ya know?”  He ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it up a bit.  “I mean, I get there at least.”

“Yeah, yeah. I know.”  Eggsy smiled over at him. He reached a hand over and gave a pat to Gary’s knee. “This is nice...I missed just hangin’ out with ya.” 

“…You should try Nikita next, perhaps trading places. They’re equally as good, though Pretty Woman has a distinct ‘feel good’ quality to it.” he promised. “…And Roxy, well, she’s proven herself to be as good as her predecessor. Though I am sure, you will certainly, if you have not already, surpassed my own good name.”

“I guess. Still, I’ll take another if it comes down to it.” 

“Ah, fuck yeah. My one true weakness...” He clutched his chest dramatically and moved to settle on the couch, stretching his legs out comfortably. “Come on then, let’s watch it, yeah?”

“…I was rather impressed with your technique. Your gymnastics and free running skills really do show. I just tend to throw myself around and hope that it does the trick…” 

“Ya knew I would be the best of the best, had ta prove it, yeah? Well, ain’t better than Roxy, she’s always number one.”  Something he always teased about her with. He nodded his head towards him, “I also watched Pretty Woman. I almost like it more than My Fair Lady.”
