Vigorous Spring

“Is there know royalty where you are from?” He asked softly and raise an eye brow. This would be interesting to say the least.

Ellyn huffed a breath when he spoke so softly. Her heart raced and she nodded, trying to calm herself even as he kissed her eyelids. With a nod, she blinked up and met his gaze, nuzzling her nose against his. “I know…I just…I need to feel you, my love.” Gently, she brushed his hair back over his ears and ran her fingertip along the points.

He nodded once, letting her fingers wonder across his skin. Sighing at the butterfly like touches he closed his eyes as her fingers touched a familiar place. “Do as you wish, meleth...”

Thranduil could not stop the smile froming at her questions. He shook his head gently and raised his hand. “No need for that, my lady. I am a king yes, but I am not your king,”

Thranduil let her have her way with him. Kissing her back just as hard, only pulling back when he felt her tears on his face. "Easy, meleth..." he whispered and kissed her eye lids, "I am here,"

He smiled sadly. "I am real, and I am not goof anywhere," he answered softly and tried his best to keep from crying. "I haven't been the best father or husband...have I? There needs to be a need work for 'sorry'..."

He nodded once. "I am. I am the king of the Greenwood," he answered, "I was here since the Forset began...and I feel I will be here long after it fades,"

Eleniel’s grin widened as she was pulled closer to him. being pressed up against his chest she hummed softly feeling him relax. “So much better” she whispered before returning the kiss sighing softly as she relaxed in his embrace.

Thranduil pulled back and studied her face for a moment. Then genltly pressed his forehead against hers. “I wish we could have more moments like this. They seem few and far between.,”

Resting her forehead against his when they touched she sighed softly giving him a small smile. “I know. But let’s just enjoy this one. We can’t control what the future brings so let’s enjoy the moment right now.”

“True enough,” he breathed and kissed her forehead. “The day is still young. How shall we spend it?”

Feeling the kiss to her forehead Eleniel grinned brightly looking up at Thranduil. “Any way you would like my Lord” she teased before pressing a kiss to his cheek.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes. “How about a simple walk. Around the grounds,”

The grin on her face spread even wider looking up at him. “A walk around the grounds sound lovely.”

“I hear the gardens look lovely now. Thanks to your efforts,” he muses.

“I wasn’t all of me. Many people helped tending to the gardens. You really do give me too much credit.” She smiled warmly as she set the course towards the garden.

“You did set the path before them,” He reminded her and let her lead them towards their destination, “Granted you need the plants to help with the wounded, so two birds with one stone as they say,”

Eleniel smiled even brighter when she heard him laugh. It was always a sound she loved to hear. “I give my realm enough credit. It’s a beautiful place with it’s own history and I would give my life before I saw anything happening to it.” she smiled warmly looking up at Thranduil and combed her fingers through his long white hair.

He gently grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles and then her palm, “You have all ready done that. Twice infact, and even continue to do so,”

Eleniel gave a soft sigh feeling his soft lips against her skin closing her eyes for a moment. “I have yes, and I would gladly do it again” She hummed looking up at Thranduil with a smile.

He nodded and nuzzled the palm of her hand. “I would rather you didn’t have to…”

“I know. And I’m not exactly planning on having to do it again. But should the situation change I’m there” Eleniel gave his hand a soft squeeze and kisses the knuckles giving him a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry my Lord.”

“I know…and I will try my best not to,” he whispered as he watched her. “Having been a leader. I know the sacrifice well…but as I said. You know it just as well,”

Eleniel hummed softly. “Come on don’t put on that grim look. It doesn’t suit your beautiful face” she smiled softly trying to lift the sudden heavy tension. Softly she kissed his lips running her fingers through his hair again.

He hummed against her lips and gently cupped her cheek. “There is one thing that may help…”

Eleniel raised an eyebrow giving him a small smirk. “Really? And what is that?” She hummed gently placing her hands over his.

Thranduil smirked. “Say my name…”

“Thranduil…” she whispered softly against his lips with a smirk before she tiptoed to press her lips against his again.

The elven king pulled her close as their lips met. Letting himself relax more under the affection. "That's better..." he whispered against her lips before he kissed her again.

Eleniel smiled even brighter when she heard him laugh. It was always a sound she loved to hear. “I give my realm enough credit. Eleniel hummed softly. “Come on don’t put on that grim look. It doesn’t suit your beautiful face” she smiled softly trying to lift the sudden heavy tension. Softly she kissed his lips running her fingers through his hair again.

He hummed against her lips and gently cupped her cheek. “There is one thing that may help…”

Eleniel raised an eyebrow giving him a small smirk. “Really? And what is that?” She hummed gently placing her hands over his.

Thranduil smirked. "Say my name..."
