remember that loving yourself is okay. put yourself first, but don’t hurt others in the way. keep in mind that you are here to live your own life, not someone else’s. you are going to be amazing and nobody is going to stop you

this has been on my mind the past few days, don't ever let anyone look down on you for reinventing who you are. change for the better, become a more full and realized version of your past self. remake your entire personality at your own whims if need be, you are your own and you owe it to nobody to be who you were yesterday, last week, a month ago. the past is just the past, and getting bogged down by who you used to be does nothing but upset. shed your past and become someone new. nobody can stop you from becoming who you see yourself becoming, your happiness is the most important thing in this world and nothing will be able to stop that. so go ahead and go by a new name, dress differently, make new friends. go out there and take hold of who you are by figuring out where you want to be, who you want to be. not even the past has the ability to drag you down if you don't let it. you define what you want and you have the right to claim it. you owe it to no one to stay who you have been

imagine yourself a beacon of light, a bright shining thing that draws those around it to itself. that’s you, you have the ability to draw amazing people towards you, and you oughta cherish that! surround yourself with people who make you smile, and remember to make them smile too

if you’re feeling down, theres nothing much anybody can do to stop that. but you can take care of yourself, get some rest and be kind to yourself first and foremost. make yourself some tea, find a movie you have always loved and settle down for a night. take care of yourself

even though the world is kinda cynical (and it has a right to be!) you can take steps to make yourself more positive. love easily, to believe that love can lose its meaning is a boring life to live. fall in love with everything around you, the skies, the trees, the puddles after it rains. everything deserves attention, and if you give some it’ll definitely come back to you!

you are wonderful and you can accomplish so many things, things those around you couldn’t dream of. you have left a impression on countless people, be it someone you passed in the streets or someone who sat next to you on public transport, you have created something. that is an wondrous thing indeed
