Love and Deepspace: The Story So Far Part 4
A summary of everything that has happened in the main story thus far. Obviously, spoilers below the cut.

Day 8:
A new day dawns while MC and Xavier await Jeremiah's final product in Philos. Xavier gives her some advice on how to survive in the N109 Zone. Jeremiah returns with a completed fake identity. He gives MC a family crest and a box of other useful tools. Xavier puts a secret transmitter in her earlobe so they can find her wherever she is. He also gives her an inhibitor that blocks most neurotoxins and a needle with a tranquilizer (or poison?) in it for self-defense. He also gives her a bouquet of flowers. After MC leaves to go home, Jeremiah asks Xavier if it is a good idea to let her go into the N109 Zone. Xavier says it will be safer than Linkon City in a few days. Jeremiah asks if Xavier doesn't care about the Nonintervention Principle anymore. Xavier says others already stopped caring about it, as evidenced by MC's family being attacked. Jeremiah says the Backtrackers are slowly being erased. Jeremiah says Traceback II can receive simple signals, but its positioning system needs work. He asks Xavier if there is someone on the other side of the Deepspace tunnel who can respond to them. Xavier promises to get Jeremiah back, but Jeremiah reminds him that this isn't Philos, Xavier isn't invincible, and neither are they truly immortal.
After reviewing her plan at home, MC calls Rafayel and asks him to meet her at The Nest to teach her how to fish. It is Hunting Day at The Nest. Rafayel shows MC how to bargain at The Nest. She writes her bargaining chip “Aether Core” on a card and gives it to the bartender. The bartender brings out a black shot glass filled with liquid. Drinking it seals the deal. Rafayel warns her that black means there will be a high cost to pay. If things don't go smoothly, she will be the payment instead. MC says she can't stay still and drinks it. Rafayel says that since she is resolved, he won't stop her and tells her he hopes she finds answers. Then he leaves.
MC sees a bounty notification for Lumiere. Then Hunting Day begins. MC recognizes the drone as the eye she saw before. It targets her as the prey for the night. MC is attacked by several people before being injected by a neurotoxin and collapsing.
In an upper room, watching what happens below, Rafayel meets with a man shrouded in shadow. Rafayel says the big fish he wants hasn't fallen for it yet and asks if the man has the stuff he requested. The man slides over a small box, asking if Rafayel is fine handing over a fresh catch. Rafayel asks if he thinks they can really handle the prey he caught. He holds a black shot glass in his hand.
