The Return of Wolves in California

The Lassen Pack: In Lassen County, a family of two gray wolves and at least three pups have been captured on a trail camera. This is the second-known pack established since two years ago when the first wolf pack was spotted in the area since the early 1920s.

The Shasta Pack: In 2015, two gray wolves had five pups in eastern Siskiyou County; they were the first known pack in the area in nearly 100 years.
