[He threw the pillow to the side] Of who’s sending you these notes. I’m going to catch them and have a conversation with them for a long time.

[Killian folded his hands in front of him, looking down] I don't understand why. Are they really that bad? Their just notes...

[Aidan looks at his little brother as sifts through their bed] I’m looking for clues.

[Killian remained by the foot of the bed, watching his elder sibling] What clues? Why?

Tutelary ㄨ Eden & Killian

Hearing his words, Eden couldn’t help but smile as she looked up at the sky. “We can still do it, if it’s something you liked to do,” she muttered, looking over at his pale face and seeing the joy in his eyes as his eyes followed the clouds. “How have you been? Minus the whole sickness, has everything been… Normal?” She wasn’t quite sure how to ask the question without being blunt about it. She wanted to know about the notes, because ever since Killian had first showed them too her, Eden hadn’t stopped thinking about who would be sending these to a little kid. 

Killian kept his eyes on the sky, following the ever moving clouds as he considered the offer. It would be nice to lay back on the ground and stare up at the sky, but they didn't have all that much time and there weren't all that many clouds to begin with. He let out a small sigh, shaking his head as he brought his attention back to the woman before him. "No, that's alright." His eyes shifted downward, meeting with hers. His shoulders lifted into a small shrug, not knowing what there was really to say, he'd be confined just like the rest of them. "I've been okay? I mean, I found another note so that was a bit weird... but other than that everything's just been pretty boring." 

Tutelary ㄨ Eden & Killian

Hearing that Killian spent time outside of the barriers wasn’t exactly comforting, yet it made her want to be there for him even more. She knew of his brother, but other than that, this boy seemed to be alone— something they both had in common. It wasn’t a comforting thought, but it pushed her to want to be able to protect him even more, especially with the notes he’d been receiving. As they continued to walk, Eden glanced around every few minutes to make sure no one suspected anything until she nodded towards the kid and pulled them to the side of an old building until they reached the back of it. With a small smile, Eden leaned against the wall and slid down until she was sitting. “This is as close to fresh air as you’re going to get, kid.” 

Upon reaching the outdoors Killian hadn't fully grasped just how stale the air inside had become. The slightest breeze was welcomed upon his pale, freckled face. He breathed in deeply, wanting the most of this moment, but instead earning a small lived coughing fit while being lead from one isolated part of the Outpost, to another. The smile upon his face still remained ever present as they turned a final corner, reaching a quiet, and empty back side to one of the structures. "I like it. I think if there's one thing this new world has, it's better air. No more pollution." Killian was gazing at the sky as he plopped down across from Eden, grinning largely up at the few clouds that floated by. "I used to lay on a hill and try to find images in the clouds..."
