Sister Madeline has always been my favorite character, so I really wanted to draw her as an ordinary person—not a monster, not a nun, just a young woman who wanted to live. Suck it, school—I’m done with you.

For many years, I've been dreaming of creating my own comic or indie series. My problem is that I find it really hard to come up with a plot that isn't based on something else. My only truly original character is Ellie — if I don't tie her to any specific game or show. The only project of mine that actually has a finished story (and yes, I still struggle with finishing stories) is a parody of FNAF.

Because of that, I feel unoriginal, and it hits my self-esteem pretty hard. I really want to finally create a story that isn't built on an existing framework — and I don't mean you can't take inspiration from things, I just mean not copying the whole foundation. I want to draw it, pour my soul into it, and show it to the world.

I don't want to devalue AU creators — I love AUs — it's just that, for me personally, I want to make something completely... mine.

Her skin, her hair, her eyes, her style of clothing — they are collective images that she has gathered together into herself.
