This isn't a romantic relationship between Kila and Gumball. Gumball simply likes Kila, and she likes him too. It's not forced; it's something I enjoy because I think it's cute of me, because it doesn't break the bond of friendship and the infinite, loyal brotherhood between Gumball and Darwin, which I also love and is one of my favorites. Gumball is actually in love with Penny Fitzgerald, and I love that ship and respect it a lot. Kila likes spending time with Gumball because he's cute and clumsy but awesome, and she's grown very fond of him. They're together because of the great affection and trust they have. They're sleeping together because they spent all day playing, and in the afternoon, Gumball was going to rest alone, but Kila decided to keep him company because of the trust they have in each other. Besides, it's easier to animate Gumball with his current design than with the one from season 1.
