Love how this one looks, although not strictly finished. Used a chonky crappy kids' brush for this underpainting layer, but it's too cool to add more detail to.

Little study that I like how it turned out. Not strictly finished, but I probably won't work any more on it.
A sketchbook doodle from... not sure this time. 2018? Just kinda sloppy and straight in with pen and some waterbased markers. Maybe not my best draftsmanship, but I don't mind it too much.
A really old Drawtober from 2017, prompt was "Rat Queen." Love the idea for this one, but my execution of this drawing back in the day was a bit lacking (like, either one or both the arm on the left and the tail are completely impossible. Not like that's strictly required for drawings... but I do like things to look like they might make sense in 3D...)
Some punkins in my mini autumn/halloween sketchbook :3

Lil fall haiku and an illustration of a leaf. :)
Came up with a kinda cool idea to connect all the prompts of Drawtober 2020 into one story, but only did this fairly unpolished digital painting for the first prompt and made some sketches for the other 5 prompts. The story was about these weird shadowy mental illness monsters that apparently can manifest your negative thoughts into physical wounds or something on your body? Yeah. I dunno. It wasn't a perfectly fleshed-out little story, but might have made for some cool illustrations. I might go back and work on some of the other ones I have sketches for. Someday, maybe. Oh, and here are some lil concept sketches of the shadow dudes:
Simple little sketchbook doodle done back in 2019 for the drawing prompt "ghost story." I thought I'd make it a bit of an ode to bad creepypasta.
A little piece I called "That's Timore" cuz I'm a goober. It... looks like a moon, so it's a play on "That's Amore"... Made for an art supply mystery bag challenge. These were the supplies in my mystery bag, plus a shot of the shadowbox frame I set up to display it in:
i dunno, I thought it was a fun piece to make. Used a photo ref found on Pinterest, but I didn't copy it one-to-one. Though the rules for the mystery bag challenge allow for other materials to be used, I think I only used a graphite pencil in addition, for an initial sketch. Also, I think I prefer the angle that I have the painting turned at in the main photo, but I put it in the shadowbox at a slightly different angle, which bothers me a little. I superglued it in there, so it's likely not an easy fix to get it rotated a little... :[
A few little paintings of candy corn on wood discs, intended to be used for jewelry purposes.

Spooky little doodle from sometime in 2019, which was about when I got my first set of POSCA markers and also when I got into Lord Huron a bit (especially "Meet Me in the Woods"). I don't think this really portrays the vibes I get from the song, nor is this a great color palette but eh whatever. Used the aforementioned POSCA markers, and also a Micron for the black pen parts.
Another lil guy. Halloween 2023. Black fineliner pen, watercolor, and a little bit of colored pencil.
Just a lil guy. I should draw more things like this. He's cute. Used black fineliner pens, alcohol markers, and a white gel pen. This is only about ATC-size, so I wasn't able to be particularly precise with the coloring. Drawn in 2020, gifted to a friend :3
I love a good frilly witch. I believe this one is from 2021.
Tried drawing the same self portrait a few years apart. I think it shows some improvement. 2021 vs. 2018, I think.

WIP of a painting I started back in 2022. Should get back to it, really. Painting the text was pretty fun tbh. 30"x24"
A fairly recent sketchbook page - just some drawings on kraft paper from a paper bag, used to fill a page that had some bleedthrough. I ref'd some images from Pinterest, but made some changes to each of them. Used Derwent Drawing Pencils, just 9 different colors in an effort to keep the color palette cohesive. It was decently fun drawing these, and I think it ended up looking pretty cool too. Idk, colored pencil drawings on kraft paper are just wonderful somehow.
