I don’t think things like continuously subjecting you to their horrible family and friends, refusing to help with wedding planning, cheating, being deeply jealous, hating a creature you love, making you do more than your share of domestic labor, trying to provoke/belittle you for their own gain and not being someone you’re attracted to are minor things. one of the best decisions yellowjackets has ever made is reverting the women back into girls at their most vulnerable moments. shauna when she kills adam, nat laying her head in lottie's lap, misty seeing young natalie in the mirror, misty in the morgue seeing lottie because this truly hammers home that their lives stopped the moment that plane went down and that no matter how much time has passed by, they're still those teenage girls who were on their way to their football game and lost 19 months of their lives trying to survive.

underrated yellowjackets scene is misty storming through the door of nat‘s hotel room while nat is mid-relapse, bodyslamming nat into next week, just fucking snorting all the cocaine before nat can get to it and then fighting for her fucking life because, evidently, misty quigley has never done cocaine ever before. zero thought process, zero consideration, zero alternatives. misty quigley woman of all time.
