He received his bit-beast from his deceased parents through an amulet that had been passed down in the family : Emela-ntouka, shortened to "Emela", an African mythological creature.

MAYBLADE DAY 4 : FUTURE (with OC)

Hi!

This is my first time doing Mayblade, and I wanted to start with the “Future” prompt.

So here’s my OC, Kanae, with Kai as adults (27 years old). And it's the perfect occasion to draw an aged-up Kai hehehe~

Since Aoki never mentioned Gou’s mother in the manga, I had fun imagining that it might be Kanae.

After retiring from competition, Kai and Kanae get married, take over the Hiwatari company, and start a family.

So here are the parents-to-be: Kai has just returned from a training session and finds Kanae sipping a soothing herbal tea.

The ups and downs of pregnancy (crying, mood swings, pain, fatigue, insomnia, etc.) are rarely depicted in fiction. So I wanted to show Kanae as someone who’s happy to be expecting a child, but exhausted by her frequent sleepless nights.

I really imagine Gou to be just as energetic and temperamental as his father, even while still in Kanae’s womb! Poor Kanae! xD But I also imagine Kai being very attentive to Kanae during her pregnancy.

As the others Wild Bladers, she appears in the first season, during the American Championship. She's Russian-Japanese mixed-race. She's also Kanae's best friend and rival. She met her in the Valkov Abbey, but she got her bit-beast during her journey to Japan : Inari, the nine-tailed fox.

She appears in the first season, during the American Championship. She's Wild Bladers' leader/captain and heiress of a major Japanese company. Kanae's family has owned a Bit-Beast for centuries, which has been passed down from generation to generation : Z'heng, the Chinese five-tailed red leopard. Kanae is the last child to join the Wild Bladers.

Since the last year, I remastered my Bakuten Shoot Beyblade OCs, and I can show you all of them, the Wild Balders, in their season 1 design at least!

So, from left to right, we have (their ages is for the season 1):

- Gaya Alvaro Muñoz, coach of the Wild Bladers (beyblader and profesionnal dancer), 31 years old, Spanish

- Joey Ross, Gaya's adoptive son and Zoey's twin brother, 13 years old, American

- Sasha Viktorovna Tsvetkova, vice-captain of the Wild Bladers, 14 years old, Russian-Japanese

- Neil Makeba, 15 years old, South-African

- Kanae Asahi, captain of the Wild Bladers, 14 years old, Japanese

- Zoey Ross, Gaya's adoptive daugther and Joey's twin sister, 13 years old.

Gaya is a professional dancer and beyblader, who is spinning top to dance (as it exists dance with swords and such). She traveled around the world and met the futures Wild Bladers' member. She met the twins Zoey and Joey first, Makeba and Sasha then, and Kanae last.

They join the 1st World Championship and met the Blade Breakers. Gaya is an old friend of Dickenson/Daitenji by the way.
