FUCKKKK. someone said elation is more like escapism and pairing that with vita, and her entire character makes so much more sense. like not only does she paint herself as a villain because of unresolved guilt, and the image she has of herself, that is, that a villain is all she can ever be, but elation as a whole, being something people all turn to for escapism. vita and the entire ordeal of her view on the omnipotent and godly, how she believes that gods can be taken down and that one can decide their own fate—her joining the masked fools as a form of escapism in her journey to try to find her new true identity from previously being one of sa's proxies, despite the masked fools being a faction that follows an aeon. taking their anger out on each other. because sparkle can't understand if she's truly the real sparkle or not anymore because she's changed and altered and created so many versions of herself. and then you have vita, who is a Clone/Proxy artificially made by and abused by sa, whom she came to defy and kill, but sa still haunts her.
