I love the things that the Trojans are doing to include Jean throughout the book, even when they aren’t explicitly mentioned. Like Cody repeatedly getting new fruits for Jean to try, the bandaids that Emma gives him, the double ds regularly including him in their conversations even when he doesn’t respond. It’s just so sweet and clearly develops all of Jeans relationships in a subtle way.

Jean saying "God save you both, you useless fools. No one else can. How either of you have lived this long when you're so miserably stupid is beyond my capacity to understand. " in The Raven King, it's a preview of how amazing his skills in insults are in his books

I need Neil to appear unannounced and fix Jeremy’s missing passport and papers problem with a flick of his mafia fairy wand in the next book

sorry jean is a stronger man than me. if neil josten pulled up to my sickbed with his boy toy and his boy toy’s boy toy (my ex situationship) and told me how all 5 foot 2 of him tricked a mob boss into saving all of our lives i might kill my self in front of him just to prove a point

one day neil is gonna get hurt and one of the foxes is gonna ask if he's okay and he's gonna practically spit through clenched teeth and a snarl "NO! It fucking hurts!" and all the foxes gathered round him are gonna freeze and short circuit as they collectively process with dawning horror just how much pain neil has to be in to admit it
