There's significant improvement 🎉 Tbh I was probably burnt out when I drew my 1st attempt. His hair is pretty hard to color, because yeah coloring white/silver hair is hard. I think I did a decent job tho and I'm sure I'll figure it out the more I practice.

may came to it's end, my plans on it didn't come alive, so here them are - arcobaleno dudes from ancient times of copics and ink~ this is my gestals-blog after all...

I feel like there are a lot of things that get mistaken as canon facts about the arcobaleno, but in reality they are just fanon and can’t be proven at all!! So I wanted to take a few moments to talk about some. This is not to bash on any of these ideas and if you have these as your personal headcanons that’s great! I am only strictly speaking as to what we know is canon based on the manga. So please don’t take this personally if you ascribe to any of these ideas!

Names: The most obvious one, that I’m sure many people know about by now too, is the fact that names such as Renato Sinclair for Reborn, or the last name De Mort for Skull are purely fanon. Unfortunately, we just don’t have any canon last names for the arcobaleno!! Though I have been told that apparently the “De Mort” last name for Skull apparently comes from Ha/rry Po/tter crossover fics! So huh! Very cool!

Skull is the only civilian: The only confirmed mafia members are Luce, who is the leader of the Giglio Nero famiglia, and Reborn, who is the number 1 hitman. Then we have Lal (and Colonnello) who is a member of CONSUBIN. Everyone else’s lives before becoming cursed is up to interpretation! Like, yes we know Skull was a stunt devil or some kind, and Verde is a scientist. Mammon is mentioned to be an Esper. And even Fon, who everyone assumes is an assassin, is only ever said to be a famous martial artist. No where in canon does he or anyone else say he’s in the mafia or triad! For all we know those guys were just very skilled civilians!

The next portions is gonna be a lot about the sky arcobaleno and the Giglio Neros because oh boy! I sure got a lot to say here!

Luce manipulated the arcobaleno and led them to their doom: So let’s split this up into two segments. Manga canon and anime canon. Manga canon: Nothing. There is nothing at all to imply this. At most there is a conversation where Reborn, and Lal Mirch, asks Yuni if she’s able to see the future like her grandmother but they don’t even seem bitter about it at all. The other arcobaleno don’t even bring her up. This just isn’t a thing. Anime canon: See, in the arocbaleno trial arc fillers we get a little more insight into Luce. We see her grapple with accepting her fate and the fact she’s dooming her daughter to that  same horrible fate (because lets not forget the sky arcos are doomed to die early too), and her internal struggle with that. So we do get confirmation here she knows of the curse, and the consequences (specifically on her and her daughter). But she is not gleeful or excited. She’s wistful if anything. We also just don’t know the extent of Luce’s visions of the future! We just know she felt like she couldn’t run away and so she did what she thought was right.  Then after they are cursed we have that line from Reborn that essentially says “None of us could have accepted what happened to us, except Luce who knew all along”. And again this points in the direction that Luce knew about the curse. And so what? I feel like it’s such a bad faith interpretation to point all the blame on Luce when she got the shortest end of the stick and in reality there was probably so little she could do. So she chose the best option. Sacrifice herself (because once again she was the only one cursed with a short life) for the greater good of the world/trinisette.
