My In's and Out's for 2026
These are my in's and out's for 2026 in no particular order.
In's:
Personality: I need to stop trying to be cool; it's no fun. Being funny surpasses being trendy any day. I love people with big personalities.
Southern charm: Let's bring back manners! What happened to "yes ma'am," or calling people "darling?" BRING. IT. BACK.
Dancing: Just dance. It makes everything more enjoyable, and no, no one is judging you.
Signature scents: My favorite compliment is "you smell good." I want people to smell the vanilla before I even walk into a room. AND I want everyone to know it's me.
Blogging: I will be bringing this into 2026. I want somewhere to keep all my thoughts, ideas, and photos that didn't make the main. That's what Kept By Noe is for!
Out's
Airforces: This is just a personal goal. I need a different pair of sneakers, preferably ones I haven't been repurchasing since 2020.
Being nonchalant: What if we just collectively decided to not care about other people's opinions of us? I, for one, am tired of not trying new things and not loving loudly.
Doom scrolling: I don't know how I'm getting rid of this, but it needs to go.
Consumer culture: No, you don't need this year's new and trending water bottle. It's just wasteful and won't bring you any long-term satisfaction.
Idolizing celebrities: This is a big one for me. They are no different than any other person, and we don't need to treat them as such! They're not untouchable gods, and we should stop comparing ourselves to them.
I definitely have more, but these are just a few from the list. This year, I'm keeping what makes me happy and getting rid of anything that doesn't serve a purpose.
