Hi there! So I’m trying to keep up with all the comebacks lately (some of the next one’s may be a bit late). I’ve seen Fantasy by JBJ when it was release (it was a pretty good btw), but I don’t know much about them besides the fact that they’re participants of Produce 101, so here I am with ‘My Flower’~

10/10 colours and aesthetics

oh damn who is this guy with the auburn/pink(?) hair staring at me 

again with the low voice- it keeps surprising me for some reason

i love the white background with isolated spots of vivid colour

so catchy

the backing track gives me kard vibes

okay but this guy with the auburn/ pink hair and like six ear piercings keeps coming back to attack me help (pictured below)

this choreo is so slick and the camerawork gives it a lot of power

this guy has a really unique rapping style

oooohh this set with the coloured lockers is on point

oh choreo in the bridge- the members appearing successively like a flower blooming nice 

A low voice is something you very rarely see in a bridge wow

YEAH GET THAT HIGH NOTE -silence-

idk why but i love scenes with paint- instant aesthetic

also the recurring painting on the screen effect is hella cool and the stripes of paint on and around their fingers (i have never looked so closely at someone’s fingers before)

*sighs* Stop. Just nope. nOPE. WHY ARE ALL THESE COMEBACKS SO GOOD? This was a great pop song for several reasons- firstly the balance between rapping and vocals was a lot more even than most i’ve seen before. Usually, there’s one rap section in the second verse- in here, JBJ have sprinkled it throughout the entire song and it’s honestly lit. Secondly, a bomb chorus- it’s super jammable with strong vocals, beat and electric sound. Thirdly, the use of a rapper’s incredibly deep voice in the bridge but still in the same style as any other bridge. Slow and echo-y but deep and grungy too and the contrast is really interesting. Also- the choreo and aesthetic was on point. I have one complaint though- can thEY STOP STARING INTO THE CAMERA AND INTO MY SOUL.
