Hello!!!! I'm Kenny, an artist really, really into DoL... You may know me from Twitter, as I primarily reside there, but I'm here now! As well! Yay!
I'm a Kylar main. Both M!Ky and F!Ky, but it's mostly M!Ky. I also really enjoy M!Robin on the side, but I'm mostly a Kylar guy... my designs might change a lot, because I love all types of Kylar imaginable !!!
My depictions of LIs are rather self-indulgent, (such as a more sado/dom Kylar, or somno Robin,) and can go out of their canon a lot. Just a fair warning for anyone who doesn't like ooc headcanons, artwork and ecta! I do try to stick close to the canon, though. Usually.
I consider myself a writer, and I enjoy it a lot as a past-time ! I might occasionally drop in some Kylar fics (or alternatively Robin,) or just random drabbles about them as well. I may yap a lot. I make a lot of weird and whacky AUs....
I love LI x LI ships as well, and I love PC x PC! I don't mind any ship between any LI, though they are not things I will be drawing, (because I really only draw Kylar x PC.

i like the idea of a kylar who's known PC for a while and feels safe around them, so he acts weird or cringe around them without fear...
i personally really like a kylar that can be a lot more vocally disagreeable with PC after spending a lot of time with them (usually over a year or two,) and opening up to them over that timeframe. and this leads into light bantering or friendly insults, but i also have a Best Friend fetish so it's essential they are close and friendly ajhshadjhgdshj
blueballing Kylar by being only friends with him for years... and he sucks it up becuz he'd get dropped and humiliated if he confesses... but results in doing weird shit behind the scenes to get his perverse desires out with PC...
i really love the idea of slowburn Kylar which probably helps the best friend -> hopelessly in love pipeline. where he slowly gets close to one person after a long period of time, learns how nice it is to have a friend again, and as he grows anxious and afraid of them leaving and notices how much his heart aches when he's not around them or not touching them he has an

and then he becomes the freak stalker doing all the shit from in-game but intensified because he already knows everything about them... knows all their likes and dislikes, knows what they wear and their closet, and maybe even had the chance to watch them change infront of him... extra ultra friendzoned that he now has to fight to get out of.... sorry kylar... better luck next time...

Dance of Lewdity is a special dedicated event for the Degrees of Lewdity Pcverse!
How can i participate?
This is a seasonal event for you π«΅ to talk about how your PC would behave in a prom party Setting. It could be through artwork, comic strips, writing or even moodboards!
A few ideas that come to my mind for you to explore are "How would your PC dress?", "How would they ask (or get asked) to prom?", "What song would they want to slow dance to with their date?" and so many more!
I'm dropping a background for your PC (and their date!) to take their prompic together :) (feel free to edit it!)
There's no limit on how many PC's can participate and this is not an art exclusive event, feel free to use writing or moodboards to bring your PC prom concept to life.
Your PC can bring a date! It could be a Love Interest, an NPC or even another fellow PC. There's no limit as long as you can make it work!
The event will run for two months, and during this time the hashtags #pcpromnight and/or #dance of lewdity are open for people to showcase their concepts!
While interactions are not mandatory, roleplaying is encouraged as long as everyone involved is comfortable! You get to play dollies with your friends! Iβll also drop in from time to time to draw something and help enrich the party atmosphere.
The event is for the most part SFW, but there's no rule against NSFW. It is to be expected.
By the final week of the event I'll create a google voting poll so we can choose a PC prom king and queen! Since this is a multiplatform event, all PCs are welcome to compete.

I heard you like li x li! Do you have any thoughts on Sydney and Kylar? And do you think their dynamic gets more interesting dependent on their genders? I always find M!Ky & M!syd/F!ky & F!syd so fascinating cuz #HomophobicReligiousTrauma, but I think their dynamic is fun no matter what! Just curious on your opinion as the number one Kylar fan ever hehehe
I personally always believed LI dynamics and personalities could change with gender, even if they're not noticeable at first, because they'd be treated in different ways and have different social norms. Sydlar is probably one of my top ships in regards to li x li, and I feel like there's a lot of subtext that could be interpreted towards the ship in QNAs (though of course it makes sense platonically, too,) which makes the ship very plausible.
This will get very long so a bunch more will be beneath the cut! β¬
I prefer my Sydlar angsty, personally. I always imagined Kylar as the type to despise Sydney for leaving during their most crucial moments in childhood; they had "abandoned" them, though of course, it's a lot more complicated than that. Sydney, who has no clue what happened to Kylar and only knows they were told to stay away from them, feels greatly remorseful of their friend breakup, and desperately wants to befriend them again.
Kylar cannot take a single second of it. Especially with how they turned out when they were older, they despise Sydney, who seems to perfect in all aspects- attractive, smart, well-liked, strong, a happy family- Sydney has everything Kylar had lost. So, Kylar hates Sydney, seeing them as living proof of how far their life has fallen.
Kylar doesn't like to admit anything has changed. They don't like to admit what happened, nor that nothing can ever go back to the way it was. They constantly refer to their parents as simply "sick", introduce you like nothing is wrong, ecta ecta. So when Sydney comes into their life, living the life they should have had, it's a constant reminder of everything that went wrong.
Why? Why does Sydney get to be happy? Is it because they're so faithful, so loyal to the church, that they got to live normally? Why couldn't they have that ending? Why did they have to suffer? It's not fair. It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair.
And when Sydney tries to befriend them with that sweet, gentle gaze, sincerely apologising for drifting apart from them, Kylar feels like they're the only one this fucked up. Are they in the wrong for being angry? For feeling betrayed? For wanting Sydney to suffer in the way they did? All Sydney does is make Kylar feel worse. About themselves, about their life, and about how much they wish Sydney was dead.
They believed that if Sydney was gone, life would be easier. That they could forget their past and live in their delusional fantasy- that everything is okay, and their parents are simply ill. That they aren't a bad person, and they are simply having a hard time. That Sydney is the problem. Not Kylar.
And of course, with the whole gender thing, (though I usually imagine my Sydlar as mlm,) I do like the whole Sydney being just a little homophobic because of the church and all. And when Kylar ignores their attempt to befriend them, and maybe initiate something sexual instead, (I imagine in a hatefuck kind of way,) that they respond with such hesitance and concern that Kylar just gets pissed off and rapes them, probably.
I haven't really thought all that hard about if PC was involved in the mix, because I prefer my Sydlar in aus where PC doesn't exist... but that's the most of their general dynamic I enjoy, I think!

i think it's so interesting for kylar to act like this.... to see Player as some kind of divine entity pulling the strings on PC's life, and seeing PC's infidelity as something the Player did, not them. and desperately trying to break the tether connecting the two, believing that if Player is gone, PC will be free, will be all theirs, and they'd be happy. that Player is the sole recipient of their rage, frustration, and delusion.
-and then what would happen once Kylar finds out their PC was just a self insert of Player. that without Player, PC wouldn't exist, and that essentially they are the same person, but PC is the doll Player uses to interact with their world. And how Kylar would just go batshit insane, worshipping Player like some kind of god instead.
