I look at all comments, messages, inbox, I don't usually answer because it gives me to much anxiety. If you asked to be tagged I will just simply tag you in the next part, and I will answer questions about my work.

You Ghost and Gaz were getting ready to head out first thing in the morning. The more time you had the more likely it was that you would hear something important. But before you guys could leave, Price stopped you, he had been up most of the night, either listening for the radio or calling with Laswell. “You three need to extra carefully” you guys already knew that, but at the same time there weren't too many risks once you were already there, but Price continued “their boss has been up all night interrogating people, he’s getting more and more antsy” you paused what you were doing “that shouldn't affect us though?” Price shook his head "Laswell is still struggling to figure out who exactly you killed, but their boss seems to not be in the best state of mind” Basically, Price was saying that the place was now being run by someone slowly going mad, from paranoia or grief.

Still, you guys needed to go back out there and see if you could find anything else out. So again you took the long way, the spot was easier to find now, you and Gaz started setting everything up while Ghost walked around, checking for any other potential vents and making sure the area was clear. Of course the first area you managed to get to again was the dorm rooms, it took multiple tries to get out of the dorm rooms. “I don't know what we're going to do. What can we even do?” Ghost came closer to listen in. You weren't sure who was talking but they were whispering and they seemed anxious. “Nothing for now, we just need to wait” even though the words seemed confident the other person seemed hesitant while talking “I don’t think this will end well” after that it got quiet again. Maybe Price was right, it seemed like people inside were just as worried.

After some more searching, the cord found its way into another room. At first it was quiet, like eerily quiet, you guys were about to leave that area and keep searching when you heard a familiar sigh “it’s a simple question, did you have anything against him” there was silence and then a small no followed by a sigh. You turned to Gaz, realizing what room you guys had found. This was where the boss was interrogating people, Ghost took a step back to radio Price with the news. You turned back to listen in “you say you have nothing against him, but in a journal we found in your dorm, there's paragraphs about how you didn't like him” “you read my journal? I didn't hate him, he was just annoying” they seemed flustered but the boss continued “and are you not friends with the soldier that called sick, and said they couldn't do equipment check, which is the only reason he was there in the first place” 

The integration continued, the boss seemed sure this person did it, or at least was involved in some way, and honestly you're not sure if that's how he acted with everyone or if it was just because they had some connection. Eventually with a lot of pleading, the boss let them go. Ghost radioed Price letting him know about the boss's condition and including the name of the man you had killed, hopefully it could help Laswell figure out everything before he did something dire.

You guys stayed a listened to a few more interrogations, until you heard this conversations, likely between the boss and someone higher up “bring me the next soldier” he commanded “that was everyone” the other guys answered a little timidly “no there was someone else” the boss then preceded to describe you exactly, it seemed he did remember you from earlier. “Sir, I assure you, you interrogated everyone” without missing a beat the boss said “bring me everyone that fits that description then, I know what I saw” you were entirely ready to stay and keep listening, but Ghost pulled you up, “we need to head back” “what why?” Ghost was already starting to pack up the few things you guys had brought “because he’s going to quickly realize you weren't one of his soldiers and we don't want to be out in the open” you tried to argue, there was no way they would see you out here, plus the guy was already going crazy no one would believe him, but Ghost’s mind didn't change, he wasn't going to risk it, you were too important to him.

Simon didn't plan to bring you onto base. Even if you showed that your class of ten year olds was much better behaved than his grown soldiers. They could handle it, your experience works with children not adults, and Simon didn't want to waste your time.  But when he went back to base the next day and told the guys how absolutely perfect your class was, Price insisted you come to the base as soon as possible, he was damn near ready to kick the soldiers out. So when Simon went back home after work he asked you when you could come over, you made a grand display of thinking and checking your calendar before giving him an answer. The only time you were free was in a few weeks, but Price said anything would work.

When the day finally came Simon had almost forgotten about it, and he was super super confused when he woke up at 4 am and you weren't in bed. So, sleepily Simon got out of bed, first he checked the bathroom, empty. Then he left the bedroom to check the rest of the house, and a sweet smell brought him straight to the kitchen. There was some soft music playing and you were sitting on a stool next to the counter while rolling cookie dough into little balls before placing them onto a pan. Simon wrapped his arms around you “what are ya doing luv” why were you making cookies at 4 am, Simon had seen you making the dough yesterday but he didn't think you would wake up so early to make them. “Have to make cookies for your recruits” Simon groaned, remembering what today was. “They don't deserve cookies” he grumbled and you knew he was whining because he didn't get his cuddles. “It’s all part of my plan Si, just trust me” Simon leaned over to see how much dough you still had, then he looked around the kitchen, noticing a batch already done, one in the oven, and one ready to in “how many are you making luv” you shrugged “enough for everyone, including you, so no more whining. Even asked Price who had allergies so I could make separate cookies” you said while pointing at a smaller bowl on the other side of the kitchen. Simon sighed and grabbed another stool for himself, you were just too sweet. He knew you weren't going to be getting back in bed so he might as well help.

You and Simon arrived early, and you had him and Price walk you through a regular day on base. When it was time to start the day, you walked out alongside Simon. All the recruits immediately noticed you, you stuck out heavily surrounded by the guys in their military uniforms, and by the look Simon was giving them all they knew to not mess with you at all. The recruits were already tired from the morning cardio, but now they needed to start with drills and hands on practice. Simon has told you time and time again how much they hate this, they complain and don't put in effort, sometimes they don't even finish the training and according to Simon no amount of punishment will convince them to do it. 

You quietly introduced yourself, explaining why you were there, and the first thing you said had all the recruits excited. Simon leaned over to you and whispered “are you bribing my soldiers?" you just smiled, watching the soldiers happily line up “you would be surprised how much people will do for a cookie” you said before walking away, Simon had to jog to catch up to you before muttering "bribing soldiers, unbelievable, and illegal” 

The second change you made came during the hand to hand combat drills. Normally Simon would just point out what they are doing wrong, and if it was their first time he would show them how to correct it, but other than that there was nothing. This time you asked them first if they knew their mistake, if not Simon would point it out to them, and then you had Simon show them how to fix the mistake or show them what they should've done instead, and most annoyingly in Simons opinion, you made him point out something good each soldier did, something he would not do unless it was absolutely spectacular. You made Soap and Gaz, who were also working with recruits, do the same thing.

And every single soldier not only finished the training but also learned something and they weren't tired and burnt out before lunch. They were all very excited to receive their cookie, and when you told them they could get another one if they properly did the rest of their training and assignments, they were buzzing with excitement. According to Price, recruits need to do barrack maintenance, along with base maintenance, usually each recruit has a different task everyday. You told the recruits to get one of the sergeants or the lieutenant to check their work afterwards, if it was done properly, they could get a cookie. You thought that was enough but Simon added a time limit and clarified that the job had to be completely done. 

It was almost 11 and you were still stuck underneath Soap and Ghost who were still passed out. You can't be too mad though, you guys had to stay up late last night, and you know it was hard for them to see Gaz go, but he needed a doctor first. 

Apparently you guys weren't the only people watching the auction from the trees. You had no clue when they arrived but apparently both Ghost and Soap knew when they arrived. One of the officers tried explaining why to you and it just seemed like they needed to see all the dragons and the prices and who was willing to bid, it could change the charges they face. But they also said you didn't need to concern yourself with that, at most you might be asked to come testify to what you saw, Simon even offered to testify because he witnessed the whole thing without looking away. That same officer also promised to let you know about Gaz's condition and when you could go see him.

There was also a brief moment of confusion between some officers when you attempted to fly back home, they simply assumed you were attempting to escape. So you had to land again and prove Soap and Ghost were shifters that lived with you. They let you go after that, both Soap and Ghost were surprisingly good at flying in almost complete darkness. They were both still on edge after what they saw, which was understandable. You made sure they ate and changed before getting under the covers with them, it took a while and a lot of soft words for them to finally fall asleep. So even if you really needed to pee, and you were fucking starving, you‘re not going to risk waking them up right now.

Soap eventually woke up after another 20 minutes, he saw you were up and nuzzled his face into your side before asking “did ya get a call” his voice was a little muffled but you understood, they both wanted to know that Gaz was okay, but you hadn't gotten a call. You shook your head and Soap was sad but honestly that was the answer he was expecting. After another 5 minutes Soap decided he wanted to get up, so he poked Simon like three times and he was immediately up. Every time he does this it amazes you, because no matter how much you push or shove Ghost he doesn’t wake up, he only wakes up if you completely leave the bed, and that's partially because he demands a kiss every morning before getting out of bed.

You guys took the morning slowly, really you guys just ate breakfast and then piled back in bed. You were proud of them both, they were both so strong yesterday to face that after everything they've been through, and Ghost choosing to fly there on his own. There wasn't much talking last night after you guys got back, so you made sure to tell them how proud you were of them, and promise Ghost that it was still up to him if he wanted to fly or not. It was while you guys were just laying down together that you finally got the call. 

Gaz showed serious years of trauma, so many scars, broken bones that weren't cared for properly, bruises that go back years. But even more than just physical injuries, his mental health is in absolute shambles. The officer let you know that the doctors recommend no visitors, and that's when you realized they likely didn't know Gaz was a shifter, especially with his mental condition it would be extra hard to tell. The officer agreed to give you the address to the doctors office, but he said you would have to convince them he was a shifter, and even still they might not let you take him home. Still getting to see him, and letting him see Ghost and Soap was enough, they needed to see each other.

Your niece practically begged to ride in the car with you and Simon, and your sister agreed saying “it’s fine, I have so much to think about” which just meant she was definitely going to bombard you guys with questions once you were sitting down for lunch. On the ride your niece kept asking questions, and Simon answered them all with patience “are you going to get married there?” Simon smiled at you before answering “yes” your niece looked a little confused for a moment before asking “do I have to keep it a secret?” Simon paused for a moment, an odd question “well, no” he didn't sound confident, he knew your family could be a little prying and judgmental, but at the same time it was important that people knew you two were serious. Your niece, oblivious to Simon's uncertainty, abruptly changed topics and asked “Mr Simon, can I paint your nails for the wedding?” Simon couldn't help but laugh before saying “maybe” which was enough of an answer for her.

When you guys got to the small restaurant, your sister was already outside her car with notebook going over things. Your niece walked in while holding Simon's hand and insisted on sitting in front of Simon so he could help her with the puzzles. She would've preferred the seat next to him but she thought she should leave that for you. And as soon as orders were placed your sister was ready to talk business. 

“You two do know there is so much to do, and in only a little time” you and Simon nodded, your sister flipped open her notebook “first thing we need to figure out is who all is coming, we can't do much else unless we know how many you're inviting. The manager said they usually only allow 100 guests, but that because you two had already had an event with them, your engagement, they could be flexible. So 50 to 75 people each. Mom will probably want to meet your parents before the event though” she was rambling, “uhm about that” she paused looking up at you confused, you turned to Simon, letting him deliver the news  “my family’s dead” it was blunt but it felt sincere, maybe cause Simon’s actual family was also dead, well his biological family at least. 

Your sister was shocked, “I'm so sorry, I had no clue” Simon just waved his hand “it's fine, really. Happened years ago when I was younger. We can just focus on your family” that was Simon's subtle way of shifting the conversations back to the wedding, you grabbed his hand while your sister continued, even though you knew it was fake it still felt like the right thing to do. “Uhm yeah. Well you'll need to choose who you want there, like as soon as possible” Simon looked at you a little confused, it shouldn't be that hard right? You just gave him a small look of pity before turning back to your sister, he would find out soon enough. 

“There’s so much to do” your sister kept mumbling "engagement photos, save the dates, the actual invitations. Catering, plus the cake. Color scheme and design concepts, the dress, a stylists. Dj, photographer, florist, and so much more, oh lord” all three of you kinda just stared at her, she was still so deep in planning she had barely touched her food. “If it's too much, you don't have to do it” you said softly, her head snapped up “no, no I love this, I want to do it, even if it's a lot” she finally put the notebook down and whispered “we have time” before starting to eat.

You didn't want to get out of bed, and the fact that it's almost midday and Simon also hasn't gotten up tells you he’s also feeling the same. You're not mad at them for going on a mission, it's their job, their passion, but it still hurts knowing they're leaving. You two are supposed to head out around lunch and you guys would probably be staying the night at Price’s. But it would be the last time you see them before they leave for their mission, and you just wanted to stay in bed so you wouldn't have to face that, even though you both logically knew that wouldn't work. 

Eventually, Simon sighed and sat up, stretching while saying “we gotta get up luv” you pouted and he leaned down to kiss you “come on, ya need to stretch before we leave” you immediately groaned, covering your face with a pillow, but still you lifted your hands waiting for him to help you up. Simon helped you up and into the kitchen to eat first, before heading to the living room. Simon sat and stretched with you like usual, as soon as you were done you just laid flat down, you saw Simons stand up over you “do I have to do the balancing” it’s been a long time since you tried to get out of training, immediately Simon's mind started panicking, was it hurting again? You saw the panic in his eyes and added “just don't wanna do it today Si” Simon sighed in relief, he held out his pinky “only if you promise to practice extra hard while the guys are gone” you agreed, wrapping your pinky around his before grabbing his hand to sit up.

Somehow you and Simon still managed to leave the house on time, arriving right on time with the sergeants. The atmosphere was much less tense than last time, you guys ate lunch with light conversation. Price had the whole evening planned, and Soap seemed so excited to head to Price's place and get drunk, his usual tradition before missions. And while Price was half arguing half begging Soap to not get blackout drunk later, Gaz leaned over and apologized himself for not telling you guys about the mission, "don't worry about it” both you and Simon said in sync, he had much more important things to worry about right now.

When you guys finally got to Price house everything was all set up. The place wasn't decorated like a party, that wasn't Price’s thing, plus it would make this whole thing feel more like a goodbye. But Price had rearranged his living room, there were seats for all of you, he moved his dining table into the middle of the living room and it was covered with different board games, there was also another empty table in the corner of the room, you looked at Price a little confused but he just smiled and shrugged. 

The 5 of you spent the next few hours playing, card games, board games, and trivia games. The two most memorable moments definitely have to be when you guys were playing uno, and Soap lost every single time, no matter who he was up against he lost first, eventually he gave up, pillow covering his face while mumbling about plus twos. Or when Price beat Soap and historical trivia, and Soap groaned about an unfair advantage and said “you lived through all of it” when half the questions were about events that happened in the 17 and 18 hundreds, Price was ready to strangle him, and Soaps life flashed before him for a moment. 

The only thing that saved Soap was a knock at the door. Price had ordered in, but not just a little bit of food, when he finally got everything in, it was completely covering the table in the corner and there were multiple things stacked on top of each other, Price had even gotten desert. Price went and grabbed the beer he had already bought that was in the fridge before turning to you and Simon and saying “you two are taking all the extra food” it made sense, they would be gone, but how the hell did he expect you two to have room for all of that. It didn't take long after eating for you to lay against Simon and fall asleep, although Soap would definitely wake you up later with his loud noise. The guys played betting games while you slept, Simon stayed completely calm while Soap was absolutely losing his shit, and when he lost to Gaz Soap just slumped down and drowned his sadness with more beer and a huge slice of chocolate cake. It was chaotic, but it's always been chaotic with them.

You stayed absolutely glued to Simon's side, which would've been fine but they really needed Ghost to be there while interrogating Valeria, he was the best at that. But you didn't want to be anywhere near her, nor would they want to bring you around her, the problem is you start panicking if Ghost tries to leave. Your little hand holding onto his sleeve, he promised to keep you safe which means he can't leave your side. Gaz was the one who volunteered to watch you while Ghost left, now Ghost just has to convince you Gaz is safe.

Gaz kept his distance while Ghost introduced him, Ghost pointed at him “Gaz, friend amigo” Simon wasn't 100% sure if you knew English or not so he simply used both languages even if it had Gaz giving him an odd look. You slightly peered around Simon's side, it was one of the guys you saw from earlier, he was dressed similarly to Simon which meant he probably meant he wasn't from around here. You didn't move, just kept staring at him. Gaz looked around trying to see if there was anything for a child to do here, which was unlikely, normal there would never be a kid here. He noticed a small tv tucked away in the corner, he pointed to it “show?” hesitantly you looked away to see the tv before looking back up at Simon “Volveré pronto.” (I’ll be back soon) so slowly you walked towards the little couch in front of the tv.

Gaz sat on the opposite end of the couch, trying to give you space. Ghost was already gone and Gaz just prayed the tv worked and had at least one kids station. The first station on was the news, probably the most boring thing for a kid ever, still you just sat perfectly still, eyes on the tv occasionally glancing at Gaz. Thankfully there were a few different kids stations. Gaz tried to ask you which one you wanted but you just stared blankly, so he slowly slid the remote over to you for you to pick. Very very slowly, you carefully grabbed the remote choosing one of the shows before placing the remote right back.

Even though there was a show on, you never fully got comfortable, you were hugging a pillow against your chest, not leaning too much against the sofa, and you would often look away as if you heard something but Gaz wouldn't hear a thing. Gaz carefully took you in without staring too much, if he had to guess, those ears have given you better hearing, which would also explain why you left the volume so low. He’s not sure exactly what they were trying to do with you, or what else they've genetically changed about you, but Gaz can only assume the reasons are vile.

Interrogating Valeria on where the missiles were didn't take long, but getting her to explain what they did to you and why was more of a challenge. She refused to say what she had done to you, or why, the only thing she did say "didn't work out like we wanted, we were going to get rid of them soon anyways” that's when Simon had to leave the room. The audacity to kidnap a child, torture them, and then plan to throw them away cause they didn't meet your sick expectations. 

Simon just sat in the other room for a bit, not ready to see you yet. Alejandro came in not long after “not sure what we’re going to do with them” for a moment Simon thought he was also suggesting to get rid of you, Simon turned his head to face Alejandro. He quickly clarified “not like that” Simon let out a sigh, “there’s going to be other cartels that want her for sick reasons, she’ll never feel safe here” Alejandro started leaving the room again while mumbling “¿cuál es el lugar más seguro?” (where is the safest place) and that had Simon thinking.

I'm going to pretend like this request isn't from February (I'm so fucking sorry, I totally forgot i had this in my inbox) Anyways, this idea is really cute.

Simon never expected to date someone in general, much less someone who was absolutely obsessed with crocheting. You two don't live together yet but you've gifted him so many things no matter what room he’s in, there is something there that reminds him of you. Honestly he’s not sure how it happened, he kept telling you no, you didn't need to spend your time making him stuff, but you just didn't listen.

Every morning when Simon goes into his closet to get dressed for the day there's just an odd pop of color. Everything in Simon's closet is black, with maybe an occasional gray, but you say using just black to crochet is too boring and not colorful enough, so now Simon has a whole little pile of clothes that are just super bright and colorful. Most of it is winter stuff, but he has multiple hats in different colors. He has two pairs of mittens, one pair is colorful and covered in little hearts and the other is just plain black, which you only made because you learned his original pair of mittens had holes in them but he refused to get new ones, so you made him the plain black ones first with the yarn you still had, then later the heart ones, and yes Simon wears both. His wardrobe is filled with crocheted sweaters after you learned he only had like two non work shirts, you kept them mostly neutral but still added a small pop of color, maybe a little flowers or hearts on the sleeve. Simon loves it, it reminds him of you, and he will absolutely wear any of it, if someone thinks he looks a little odd wearing an all black outfit with a brightly colored hat and gloves they can mind their damn business. 

His wardrobe isn't the only area you've added crocheting too, his kitchen is also filled with crocheted items. Simon doesn't do any homemade cooking but he is amazing at following instructions so as long as something just needs to be warmed up Simon's got that. Does Simon have plenty of burns on his hands and arm from cooking, yes. And that's why you've made him multiple oven mitts, pot holders, and mug cozies, just in hopes that he won't burn himself anymore, it's majorly helped but every once in a while he still somehow manages to burn himself.    

Then there's the little random things you've crocheted for him. A bunch of coasters, he switches them out every once in a while, they're so many different ones but his favorite is the ghost. You noticed his wallet was absolutely falling apart, he can’t even hold coins in it, but it didn't bother Simon enough to buy a new one so you just made him one. So now he has this super cute red and black wallet that's just big enough to carry his cards, a few coins, and a picture of you. Soap makes fun of him every time he pulls it out. Simon doesn't mind though, especially because he knows you've decided to make one for everyone on the team, and Simon knows damn well Soap will use it if you ask.

It's been a few weeks and Simons finally started to fall into a routine. He wakes up early and goes on his normal run, it helps him wake up in the morning and clear away any of the bad thoughts. Sometimes he runs take longer than usual and that just means Simon stopped to watch whatever creature he somehow managed to spot. Oftentimes he’ll come back holding some cool bug or maybe a small reptile, a whole room in the house has just turned into Simon's terrarium. He usually only keeps cool or unusual bugs, sometimes it's stuff you've never even heard of, they all have names and Simon even has favorites. You had to set some rules though when he walked into the house with a snake in his hands half wrapped about his arm.

If he brought a new bug home he takes care of them first, but otherwise he goes straight to you after his walk. You two eat breakfast together before you have to head to work. Simon spends the rest of the morning relaxing, he takes a shower before going to hang out with his babies (his bugs and reptiles) Then he starts crocheting. 

Really you never expected to get Simon into crocheting, but Simon gets nervous often, especially when he doesn't have something to do. Crocheting gives his hands something to work on for hours, and it needs just enough attention to distract Simon from his thoughts without being overwhelming or too difficult, not to mention when Simon learned he could make things for you he was so excited. Your kitchen is now full of Simon's crocheted items, from coasters, to pot holders, to oven mitts, and so many cute little decorations. And Simons just started on making stuffed animals for you, if you had to guess in a few more weeks half your bedroom will be filled with stuffed animals. You and Simon go to the craft store nearly every weekend because Simon goes through so much yarn.

Simon makes sure to take frequent breaks when crocheting, including one long break to go visit you for lunch. You've started packing two lunches because you know that no matter what Simon will be there, it could be raining and pouring and Simon would still walk to your work, once you even had to call him and tell him to take the car instead of walking like he normally does, he grumbled about it but still listened. Simon loves having lunch with you, you whispered to him about all the office gossip and even your close colleagues love him too. After lunch Simon does some more crocheting, honestly it's one of his favorite things. 

Even though Simon's already gone on multiple walks, he still takes time to do stretching and head to the gym for a bit, occasionally he helps out newbies that he can see are struggling, it makes him happy to lend a hand. He has more experience than anyone else in the gym and others know it, he’s even had a few people approach him to outright ask for help, he doesn't mind though. You and Simon get home around the same time, most of the time you two end up showering together before going to make dinner.

Nights are always soft with you, sometimes Simon finishes his crochet before bed, sometimes Simon writes in his little journal, something you recommended to help him process all his thoughts, and sometimes you and Simon fall asleep while cuddling and watching a show. You've pretty much entirely moved in with Simon, most of your stuff is at his place already and you're not planning on renewing the lease on your apartment. Simon actually looked forward to everyday and when his mind starts to run again he tells you, he explains what's going on so you can help.

You may have gone a little further out than initially planned, but you did let Ghost and Gaz know and they both said as long as you weren't getting any closer to the building then it would be fine. Really you weren't planning on going closer, but then you noticed how there was an area up ahead, everything looked normal, too normal, too perfect. Sometimes people try to hide things in the forest using complex traps that perfectly disguise it, but it often ends up being obvious because the forest isn't perfect. And just like you suspected there were in fact vents hidden there, based on the location though you're not sure what rooms it could connect to. Still you guys might be able to hear something through it.

Ghost and Gaz came over as soon as you radioed them, if either of them noticed you being slightly closer to the building they didn't say anything. The plan was to send a long cord with a microphone attached on the end, and if it was a valuable area with easy access maybe even a camera. Ghost stood farther away keeping an eye out for the enemy, you stood next to Gaz holding the map, hopefully you would be able to figure out exactly where the vent led to. Before actually sending the cord down you radioed Price letting him know what you found “just keep it quick soldier” was all he said.

It took a lot of tries before you guys managed to actually get the cord somewhere where you could make out conversation “you have any clue what this is about” it sounded like some recruits “no one knows, super fucking sketchy if you ask me” another voice, “he’s talking to everyone individually, whatever it is, it seems serious” the rest of there conversation was just theories on what could have happened. You guys still listened hoping it would maybe give you more intel about the people inside but when one of their theories started involving aliens you guys gave up. You tried moving to other rooms but the vent seemed to only lead to dorm-rooms where none of the conversations had any valuable information. 

Ghost came over after a while “we need to head back soon” it was a bummer you hadn't found out any new information but the fact there were vents over here meant there had to be more nearby. You helped Gaz pack up everything before heading back. As soon as you were back you were explaining what you had learned to Price and Soap, even if it was only a little information. Gaz pulled out the map, marking the spot where the vent was and drawing a small line to where it connected in the building. Soap bursted out laughing when you told him about the recruits alien theory, while Price was quiet, just thinking of the next step.

Soap spoke for him “the radio didn't tell us much, but their boss is intent on interrogating all of them, kinda seems like he’s going mad, a few of the soldiers are worried about it” both the higher and lower ranked solider were worried about it. “If we go back tonight I'm sure we can find something” Gaz said. Price put his hand up “the night is too risky, they'll be skittish after today. Not to mention we still don't know exactly who we’re dealing with, it’s better if we wait for Laswell to learn more” you didn't say anything but you were disappointed, sitting around waiting isn't fun. Price remembers seeing that same look on Ghost all the time “getting trapped in the enemy's base wasn't enough for you?” Price said, you just mumbled “touché” while going to sit. Either way, you have a feeling they'll be more than enough action for tomorrow”

Simon's skin is covered in scars, there isn't a part of him that doesn't have scars. They go back years, he’s got scars from the military, his father, even himself. He personally doesn't mind them too much, and even though you know the stories behind them you still love them. Just imagine slowly undressing Simon while trailing your fingers over all his scars, taking your time to show him how much you love all of him. 

Johnny being Scottish, is covered damn near head to toe in freckles. Surprisingly he doesn't have many freckles on his face, but the moment Soap takes off his shirt you can see all his freckles. His chest and back are absolutely covered in freckles, they even trail down his arms and onto his hands. I want to spend the summer with him, just imagine him coming up from under the water, water dripping down his body while the sun lights up his freckles 

Kyle who has so many tattoos, if he’s being honest half of them don't have meaning and a concerning amount were done illegally before he was 18. He takes absolute amazing care of his tattoos, notices the moment they start fading and gets them touched up. He has a whole routine in the mornings and before bed. Imagine going out and getting matching tattoos with Gaz, he would hold your hand through the whole thing, he goes out of his way to take care of your tattoos too.

Tw-talk of abuse, crime ring (I tried to keep things brief)

It didn't take long for the seats to fill up, the ‘staff’ seemed to know everyone and they made notes of the few empty seats. Thankfully even in the tangle of everyone coming in, not a single person had spotted you guys, no one even glanced in your direction. It slowly got darker and darker, and you were wondering what their plans were, it wouldn't be good for anyone if it was pitch black. Honestly you were about to tell Soap and Ghost that y’all needed to back farther up so nothing would happen, and that's when lights on or near the stage turned on, it even illuminated a path between the seats, and after a moment someone walked up onto the little stage. You and the guys carefully moved closer, even taking a seat, this could take hours. 

It didn't take long before you had to walk away, it was cruel and you felt sick just sitting there doing nothing, how there were so many sitting there acting like everything was fine you would never understand. The sight of the injured dragons made you want to cry and the sound of them being hurt made you want to throw up. Soap followed you, keeping an arm around you to comfort you, eventually you ended up wrapping your arms around him and just holding onto him. He and Ghost went through similar situations, how Ghost was able to stand there and watch without ever looking away, you had no clue, Ghost had always been so strong. You were too busy trying to compose yourself to notice the rustling nearby, and you didn't notice how the forest got quiet other than the screams of pain, and you didn't notice the shared glance between Ghost and Soap.

Even though you really didn't want to see anymore, they kept mentioning ‘the big guy’ or ‘the final show’ throughout the auction. You held onto Ghosts and Soaps hand while watching “and finally what you guys have been waiting for” the dragon wasn't extremely big, in fact you're sure you saw bigger dragons earlier in the auction, he was about the size of Soap. Based on the way Ghost completely stopped moving and Soap gripped your hand you can only guess that that's Gaz, his body was covered in scars much like Ghost. But unlike Ghost, Gaz stood with confidence, he didn't flinch away. 

You quickly learned why they considered Gaz the star of the show, they had spent probably years just straight torturing him, forcing Gaz to fly and attack while in terrible physical conditions. The appeal behind Gaz was that he was compliant, won't fight back no matter what, you can do just about anything with him. It was sick, you don't even want to think about what he had to go through for his body to just stop trying, healing would be a long road. They briefly demonstrated, something you immediately looked away from, you didn't hear a single sound from Gaz, which alone was telling. Almost immediately multiple people were bidding, the amount people were willing to spend, and the amount of people that desperately wanted Gaz was absolutely sick. 

People wanted him badly enough they started arguing between themselves, there were 4 different people who just kept bidding higher and higher, refusing to give up, eventually the ‘host’ said “well I'm sure we can figure something out later, to make everyone happy” they begrudgingly agreed. Slowly they got Gaz off the stage, you heard Ghost mutter “fuck, when are they going to stop this” you were so confused on what he meant, but before you could ask multiple people came out from the trees and surrounded the auction area, Soap and Ghost finally relaxed slightly knowing this whole thing was over.

Part 26

You sat on Simon's lap while he explained to Price everything that he needed “that’s a lot, it might take a few days” Simon rolled his eyes “ya know you could ask Gaz and Soap to 'elp instead of doing everythin' yourself’ you looked at Simon confused, he muttered “code names” you had somehow gotten used to Price’s odd name. Price still refused to ask for help from who you can guess is Simon's other teammates, Price reminded you two to be extra careful until he could get what Simon needed. When the call ended you turned to Simon and said “Gaz, Soap, Price, Ghost, do you guys know what a name is” Simon just rolled his eyes at you and carried you to the bedroom. You fell asleep against Simon like usual, but he stayed up for a bit looking at security cameras. He's noticed your nervousness around the enemy and he wants to try and make you more comfortable, especially when you're at home.

Now you and Simon were getting ready to go look at the wedding venue, your sisters already messaged you multiple times asking questions and just expressing how excited she is. The plan was to meet up there, look at the venue, and then grab lunch. Simon wrapped his arms around you “lookin’ nice luv” you smiled, handing him a necklace “can you put this on for me sweetheart?” Simon paused at the nickname, he loves when you call him nicknames. He gently grabbed the necklace, it was the same one he got you on one of your first dates. Simon carefully placed it around your neck “looks beautiful” you turned around and kissed him “it’s about time to go” “got your ring?” Simon asked the same thing every single time you guys were leaving the house, and your answer was always the same “always Simon”

When you guys arrived your sister was already there helping Emma out of the car. As soon as Simon got out of the car and she saw him she yelled “Mr Simon!" and she ran straight towards him, of course he picked her up and spun her around just to hear her giggle. You guys met up with the venue manager before heading inside, first they showed you the area where Simon had proposed to you. Your sister and Emma were both absolutely mesmerized “you proposed here?’ she asked Simon, he nodded “and you took no photos?” she said with a hand on her hip like it was the craziest thing ever, your niece mimicked her, putting both hands on her waist “Mr Simon" she said in a little angry tone. The manager quickly said “well if you haven't done engagement photos, this is a great option” your sister gave Simon a look that basically said, you have to take pictures here, and you couldn't help but agree with her.

Then the manager took you to the main wedding venue, and if the other area was beautiful this area could only be described as heavenly. Simon took one look around the area before turning to you to see your reaction, you took your time looking at everything, it was just so pretty. Honestly you were too distracted to ask any questions, just walking through the area. Your sister stayed near the manager asking questions, she asked about policies, pricing, setup and cleanup, all the important stuff. Compared to the other venue this one was much more child-friendly while still keeping the whimsical feeling, there was no water, flowers were higher up, and certain areas had railing. When you finally stopped staring at the venue and turned to your sister, she had pulled out a whole notebook to write stuff down, you and Simon joined her for the last bit of conversation. As you were leaving you turned to Simon “I want to get married here” Simon nodded “then it’s decided”

Part 30

Price sat on one side of the table while you and Simon sat on the other side, everything felt way too formal for you guys. Price started explaining immediately, he didn't usually sugarcoat things “we found out yesterday, I told them not to tell you, Gaz objected but in the end we choose not to tell you yet” at least it wasn't something they were hiding for a while “we weren't expecting to see you so soon, but when you asked to go to the pub none of us wanted to say no” you knew they missed hanging out with you and Simon, still it was a confession you didn't expect Price to make, that's why you encouraged Simon to go the pub yesterday. But still, none of that explained why Price didn't want to tell you.

“It’s just the first mission without you two and it's possible the worst kind of mission it could be” that had both you and Simon sitting up, worried “didn’t even want to tell the guys, but stuff happened and Laswell said we need to leave sooner” of course Price wanted to shoulder the burden on his own “wanted them to enjoy their off time, spend time with you two” he was rambling “Price” you said trying to get him back on track “sorry, the mission starts in a week, and it’s long, months in the middle of nowhere” Price gave you two a moment to process that, if it was such a serious and long mission, it meant the risk was even higher plus you and Simon won’t be there.

 “I’m sure you can guess the risks, especially when moral is low” you nodded slowly “didn’t want to tell you two yet, I know that first mission after leaving is already hard, and the mission itself isn't the best” you wished Price had told you earlier, but you understand why he was worried. “Didn’t exactly want to tell you like this but maybe Gaz was right, I should have told you sooner” Simon cleared his throat “so you guys are leaving next week” Price nodded “can we see you off?” you asked “you two will always be welcome on base” 

Price left not long after, promising to plan something before they left for their mission. Simon sat back down next to you "they're going to be okay right?” Simon pulled you closer “of course luv, they're strong even without us” even though Simon was also worried about them, he wouldn't show you that, he needed to be strong for you. “Months Simon, that's my whole recovery” “recovery could take years to get back to where you were” he said in a soft voice, your rolled your eyes “yes but these next few months are the most important, where most advancements are going to happen” you paused before adding “it’s going to be hard without them here cheering me on” Simon wrapped his arms around you "they'll still be cheering you on jus’ from afar, and when they get back you can show them all your super awesome skills” you leaned into him, Simon always made you feel happy and confident when you started doubting yourself. “Whenever we see the guys, we gotta go all out” Simon agreed, and there was a part of both of you that worried this would be the last time you have with the guys.

Part 31

Alejandro damn near bought you everything on the menu, you sat on one side of the booth while Alejandro and Ghost sat on the other side. You knew they were watching your every move, you also knew they were whispering about you, they weren't nearly as quiet and discreet as they thought they were. You didn't mind though, you like knowing more than you should, and it meant you got to eat as much as you wanted, although you did make a point to sneak some food into your pockets for later.

“She went missing a few years back, the home wrecked and her parents dead. Fue un baño de sangre” (it was a bloodbath) he said the last part more quietly, like he was remembering what it looked like. “Her body was never found, we just assumed she was also killed, never would have imagined this” you noticed how ghost didn't react, he didn't say anything, you liked that about him. Alejandro turned to you “¿Puedes decirme qué pasó?” you just froze “¿Qué recuerdas?” (can you tell me what happened? What do you remember?) you remembered a lot, but still you didn't say anything. Alejandro just leaned back against the booth, he turned to Simon "hasn't said a thing, not sure she can” 

Simon stayed quiet, they both just sat there trying to watch you without making it obvious. You stayed completely still, that was till Alejandro got a phone call, which definitely made you jump slightly but you don't think they saw, Alejandro got up and pointed at Simon “seguro” (safe) before walking outside to take the call. When you looked back at Simon he wasn't looking at you, he was looking over the menu. Slowly you started eating again, after a moment Simon slowly turned the menu over so you could see it. He pointed to a picture of a churro at the bottom but he didn't say anything. 

It was Simon's way of showing you it was okay not to talk, you nodded slightly, Simon smiled before getting up to get you the churro. He placed the churro along with a small bag on the table in front of you. When he sat back down he made a point not to look at you, giving you privacy, Simon knows what it feels like to not have food, even now he doesn’t take it for granted, and he knows how uncomfortable it can feel around food. It took you a moment to understand what he was letting you do, you slowly took the small bag, you filled it to the brim with food, you still kept some food in your pocket just in case. You tucked the bag behind you before grabbing your churro, only then did Simon turn forward and look at you.

Alejandro came in just as you were finishing your churro, you looked at you eating, then at Simon, then at the table with no food left on it, he went to say something, probably asking how you managed to eat everything in the short time he was gone, but he decided against it. “We need to head back to base, and interrogate Valeria” her name made you freeze, you absolutely did not want to be anywhere near her again. Alejandro tried to calm you down, telling you that you would be nowhere near her, but he had failed you once, even if it wasn't intentional. Simon was the one that found you, you turned to him and he said in his softest voice “Todo saldrá bien. Te mantendré a salvo” (everything will be alright, I’ll keep you safe” it was said with the heaviest British accent, but it was clear and understandable. You nodded, slowly getting up, hiding the bag behind your back so Alejandro wouldn't see, and following Simon. As you guys were walking out he leaned over and whispered to Simon “I knew you spoke Spanish” Simon shrugged, if him speaking Spanish made you more comfortable that's what he would do.
