Last page 15/15 arches hot press sketchbook. Was pretty at one point then..i just kept going. Oops! Overworked!!

Meh. Broke out a prismacolor attack after a freehand ink nib drawing then water brush underdrawing. So close to an overworked stamping!!!

Pencil underdrawing, watercolor washes with brush, let completely dry, ink with dip nib stick over top, let completely dry, then prismacolor watercolor pencils and a little derwent inktense pencil, sprayed intentionally with water, touched with dry brush and papertowel a little. Let dry!

I find drawing tedious. Finished underdrawing for a watercolor painting. Took two separate sit-downs and now going to paint something low key to recuperate from the focusing!

Page 12 arches hot pressed sketchbook. I got so carried away with mistake-fudge it-make it worse cycle x a million!!! Too much water, not enough lightness patience white space. I have the problem a lot. Overworking, not being super intentional. It bites me in the butt. This painting motivated me to carve an overworked stamp to laugh myself into holding back in the future!!

First study of a watercolor crape myrtle. Love the way they are spindly and randomly bushy. The light and shadow on them in golden hours catch my eye

Got a new cheap point and shoot digital camera that is better quality than my phone camera. Been taking my own reference pics! I took a nice macro photo of basil from my garden and attempted to paint it…don’t like how the painting turned out so will need to try again soon!
