Scribblings!

It’s so weird to me that the general social media culture…hell, it’s the zeitgeist of this decade… seems to revolve around making a hobby out of finding things to misconstrue and be unhappy about, label those involved and demonize whoever you can. Just help people. Literally. Just spend your time actually, materially, helping people if you actually care for them. How’s that for a hobby? Also, in the process, learn to empathize and see things from others’ perspectives. That’s the real problem with the entire world right now. No one is stopping to think things through from outside of their own personal bubble. Mentally try to sublimate your sense of self and your own circumstances for two seconds and actually imagine yourself as the other person. Walk yourself through the choices they’ve made that have made you feel some kind of way, why they might have made them based on what you know of them and their life. What you don’t know, imagine that too. Be generous in your interpretations. As generous as you’d hope others be of you. You will probably find that they’re under duress, time constraints, lack of information and just generally their own share of personal trouble that guides their decision making process- the same as you. Why? They’re human, too. Then, let it go. Move on and get back to what you’re actually about. Or handle it, peaceably, with every interest in helping everyone involved and not just help them do what you want or think is right. You’re probably only right for yourself. That’s how perspectives work. Things are only good for you because you’re seeing them from where you’re sitting. This is why good and evil are subjective.
