The Drowned World (2011) Set of 10 postcards

Through the collage of images sourced from Atlas’s and geographic magazines and using The Drowned World (1962) J. G. Ballard as a reference tool, this artwork focuses on communication in the dystopian future displayed by Ballard. It explores the effects of global warming on our relationship with religion, referencing The Great Flood.
