I don’t understand. I’m trying to make a story where Lila has a twin brother and things can be explained, but now I’m not understanding more and it’s very confusing.

The Handler gets adult Five to kill Lila’s parents after she recruits him from the apocalypse. The Handler takes Lila.

We have less than five years to work with, that’s how much time was on Five’s contract. He broke it early. We don’t know how early, but he says he’s 58 and he spent 45 years in the apocalypse, so he might’ve spend less than one year with the commission.

Five breaks the contract and The Handler is annoyed. This happens within a few days for him and a few days for the commission. Then he blows her up. She spends… a few months? Recovering from that.

she’s shot by Hazel and spends 3 months getting better from that before the events of season 2.

Back to Lila. The Handler had a 4 year old Lila. When did she have time to raise her? When did she train her, because Lila’s all grown up in season 2. In season 1, she’s hypothetically a child or already grown. But Five’s just broken the contract in season 1, and the commission reacts immediately. I don’t understand this. Help me. Please.

Before two years ago, I could not floss. It was a trend around when I was in elementary school? Idk. I didn’t understand it. I didn’t know how to floss, or why it was a thing. When I discovered umbrella academy two years ago, I watched a bunch of cast stuff too. I saw this in a compilation of cast moments. And genuinely, watching this clip is what taught me how to floss. I understand it’s a fun dance. After the fact. Even though Aidan couldn’t learn it from David, I could. Thanks David. Lol.

A day late, but in season 4, episode 5, I remember…

remember when Lila asked if Five if he had trouble shaving (after baby Pogo scratched his face)? “I can teach you to shave like a big boy.”

I don’t remember much from the Five and Lila montage, but I do remember she shaves his face and he was freaking smiling. Ugh. All I can hear in my head when I think of that image is “I can teach you to shave like a big boy.” And “She was just using you to get to me.” (Said by Five to Diego.)

I HATE IT.

Chonky Uncle is my Chikn Nuggit name. I created a pig and his ‘real chikn name’ is Patato Wedgie. I didn’t care enough to add shading to him.

Quad-dentity Crisis. Maybe? Because Nicky is pretty much the main character of that episode and he’s my favourite.

Field of Brains and M.D. Day are funny favourites. Maybe Quad-plex? It’s hard to decide.

 Back in late June of 2024, I was thinking about NRDD. Nicky is my favourite character. I searched up his actor, Aidan Gallagher. “He’s in a show called Umbrella Academy?” Curious.

So, I had heard of TUA before. I know I had. I saw it being an option on Netflix. But it wasn’t on Netflix when I searched it with my account (because even though I am an adult, I haven’t switched out of my kid account). So I used an adult’s (my parents’) account and found it. They had watched it even.

I looked at maybe the first two minutes of the episode ‘Number 5’ (because Aidan/Nicky) using my mom’s account before stopping and deciding to finish NRDD first. so I watched it. I also wanted to watch it and TUA before I read some fanfictions. 

When I wasn’t finished NRDD, I curiously watched the first minute of TUA. I got bored and clicked off as soon as the first swear appeared. -Shrug-. Because there had been no Five yet.

So I finished watching NRDD, halfway through the first Monday I had off school. Everyone else was gone to school/work. So I watched TUA. I sped it up to get through it quicker, but had it on normal speed for Five because I was watching the show for him specifically. 

I read comments on NRDD fanfictions, some mention Nicky’s character foreshadowing his future role, some saying how Aidan is such a good actor. 

I watched the show during school hours (well, I didn’t have school, since it was now the start of summer break, which I had finished a week earlier than my little sister), finishing it halfway through Friday. So about 4 days, 6 hours each day. 3 seasons.

So I read fanfictions. I liked the way they portrayed him sometimes. I also read some Aidan Gallagher ones, but he’s a real person, so it felt weird. 

The next week, I was bored and wanted to watch more TUA. But I had watched all the seasons available. So I watched interviews, and behind the scenes. And Aidan Gallagher’s channel. I fell more in love with him than with Five. But Nicky Harper is still the one I like most. 

I also watched the other actors do stuff on YouTube and decided I just liked the NRDD cast, they are funny.

—We were looking on Netflix, my dad showed unicorn academy. It was raining, we had gone out earlier with umbrellas, and umbrella academy was on my mind. I said we’ve watched unicorn academy but I said umbrella. As far as they knew, they didn’t know I knew what umbrella academy was. But I was horrified and my sister questioned it and I covered it up, the words are similar, I was thinking about the rain… blah blah. I think they bought it.—

Finally, school ended for my mom (she works as an ea) and sister. My dad was home and I decided to show them some episodes of NRDD because I found them funny. And I wanted something. I was manipulating them, in a way.

I also mostly showed Nicky, the funniest one in my opinion. My absolute favourite character. Then my dad said something I wanted to hear. “If you like this guy, you should watch Umbrella Academy.” I acted nonchalant and my mom looked kinda horrified? Probably because TUA is bloody and not something I would usually watch.

But my manipulation worked. We didn’t watch it yet. I feel like I acted too interested. I was asking my mom questions (about things I knew already and some things I had questions about before watching it myself). I asked a lot of questions. Why is it umbrella academy? Do they learn about umbrellas?

The next day, my dad put on TUA. I felt myself smile too much and covered it with my iPad. I watched the first few episodes with my iPad over my mouth, not suspicious at all. 

We definitely took time to watch it. I was bored when not watching it. But thankfully because I watched it before, I could be patient and wait, not always asking to watch it. 

My parents did question me for liking this show, and I don’t know why. I gave it a chance for Aidan Gallagher, I wanted to see more of him, and loved the character of Klaus, he’s hilarious. I watched it for Aidan, but loved Klaus, lol. 

Watching it with them allowed me to ask questions I had the first time and had time to think about. I had knowledge of future scenes, so I also just enjoyed what was going to happen. 

I hadn’t paid full attention to the episode ‘Marigold’ the first time, and I didn’t go back to watch it. Watching it with them, I saw things I missed but heard about after. 

My mom also tried showing me a series with Dicky’s actor in it. I was interested at first but got bored after 3 episodes. 

I manipulated my father into showing me TUA by showing my love for Nicky from NRDD. lol.

We also watched the trailer for season 4. I watched season 4, day of, horrified. Watched it with my parents right after. Dislike season 4.

The actors are fun to watch in interviews. NRDD/TUA actors are hilarious to watch.

in 2025 summer, I watched the first 3 seasons with my little sister. This year, 2026, I discovered the tuamre and joined late, watching season 3.

Klausy! Man, he’s my favourite character beside Five and umbrella Ben and Diego. Like, Klaus was not ruined by season 4, he was just doing his own thing and pretty much only interacted with Allison and Claire one-on-one. I wish he had interacted with others and I wish we got more time for him to develop the new powers like he did in season 3, practicing his immortality; but he wasn’t out of character in my mind. It makes sense he’d be scared of the world now, not wanting to get killed knowing he used to die a lot. He makes sense.

YAY, Luther and Klaus, in the afterlife. Whoa. I like Luther and Klaus. Hehe.

They don’t have to ring the bell, they can stand on those stars without fighting. Not that they know the stars are there.

Do you think the opposite hotel was always like that, like did Reginald know what it looked like and built the hotel based on that knowledge? Or did it construct itself based on the hotel Reginald built around the portal?

Allison did have blood on her hands! She’s cleaning them! She did try to help with Luther’s wound. He’s still her family, she’s sad to lose him. My assumption was correct!

Viktor and Lila. They’ve barely interacted beyond fighting in season 2. Interesting duo. Both were not raised training powers. Both can use the powers well anyways. Weird.

When Reginald knocked Klaus down, he definitely didn’t kill him. Klaus was just unconscious for a bit and he can’t recover from that as quickly. There they all go.

On the floor! They didn’t even have to fight anyone, if only they had seen it on the floor when they arrived to the lobby. Five sees it now, he’s smart.

LULU! YAY! Luther saved Sloane, awww <3 my heart. Yay. Ew bugs. I hate bugs. Luther, you were guarding Reginald’s dead wife on the moon. Good job, Klaus. You did so good. Oh buddy. On da stars!

Oh my gosh, no. Reggie, you have to be quick, make it quick, it’s hurting them! Allison! Ew, Reginald’s insides. How alien.

Allison has her family again.

They’re alive, with no powers. Allison’s deal was for the umbrellas, not sparrows. Which is why Sloane’s not there. Hey, maybe Lila shouldn’t be there either. I don’t think Allison would’ve included her in the deal with Reginald, even though they had fun at the wedding. Because if Sloane wasn’t included, then Allison didn’t want anyone but the umbrellas. Right? Lulu!

Everyone is all better though. Live their lives.

after rewatching, I’ve come into this opinion.

I found a Reddit that lists bad things she’s done.

It’s the fault of the writing. Or maybe it’s actually just her character.

I scrolled through the comments, found the one that bed encapsulates my thoughts without trying to be word-y myself.

“She was always cruel to Diego, she treated him like a fool, always dismissed him, lied constantly, tricked him with a pretend child, always ridiculing Diego and puting him down in front of others, never taking him seriously, told him about the break before he remembered his brothers death, ran away with his brother, cheated with his brother. I never felt like she prioritised Diego, it was always about her. I never liked the way she never prioritized Diego. I feel like the writers forced her on us, the idea that she was the most stable didn't fit with her actions but somehow we were supposed to believe that.”

And that’s only to Diego. There was so much other things.

Five asleep in the kitchen. How random. His weird memory of his speech. lol. He has a very good memory and has the mind of… well, a very focused person. He wakes up, remembers what happened, and immediately focuses on solving a problem. It’s cool.

Luther, that’s way too easy of an apology. He’s a family man, I suppose. He doesn’t wanna fight.

AWW DIEGO, NOOO. Be nice to him, Lila, he has a big heart and doesn’t want you hurt like Stan was hurt. Or like his original robot mother. Or like Patch. Be nice. Lila’s mean to him. He should be with someone else.

Good Allison. Very good. I hope convincing Viktor to try and fight isn’t the only reason you’re being nice.

Reginald’s vote doesn’t count. Hah. Five wanted to retire from life so early… (is this why he accepts the cleanse later in season 4? Wow, these seasons are similar but season 3 is way better, a favourite thanks to the wedding and the concept of the sparrow academy being interesting). Five voted to stay!

Speaking as if he actually raised them. He accepts they see him as their father, even if their father is a different universe/timeline him.

Lulu and Reggie! Lulu! Nooo, Reggie, nooo. NOOOO! Lulu!!! No, some of his last words being Sloane… no. Awww, no. Almost right where Klaus died too. And where Stan got kugeled. That room is evil for reasons other than the portal thing.

Allison’s hands look a little bloody. Was she trying to stop the bleeding before Sloane arrived? Actually, they’re not as bloody as I remembered. In old watches, I really thought that maybe she did. All sad… oh poor family. It feels like they were there before Sloane because they were like… still shocked. Five and Viktor ran immediately after Sloane’s scream, it wouldn’t take that long to get there? Were they there before Sloane or not? Is my former interpretation wrong?

I don’t like Diego and Lila’s relationship because I don’t like Lila, but they do have some chemistry, like right here where she’s not beating him up or insulting him. Why did they throw away this chemistry in the 4th season?

Reggie! Klausy! Hehe. lol. Reginald ain’t gonna listen to his Ben son, he wants to talk to Klaus. “That’s for hippies and people with low self esteem”. As I’ve said before, Reginald is an icon. I love this funny old man. And it was very funny how he literally yelled at Ben to go away before nicely talking to Klaus again. Klaus is an icon too. They are lovely. Awww… Well proportioned forehead. I love Klaus and Reginald!

BACHELOR PARTY! YAY! I love this season again. I love this episode specifically. Wedding! It’s so cute. It’s the happiness they deserve. My heart!!! KLAUS AND FIVE! KLAUS AND FIVE! YAYAYAYAYAYA! FIVE SINGING!

I like Aidan’s singing. His songs are cute. He needed some practice in the past, but it definitely wasn’t super bad. Way better than my singing. I love Klaus and Five singing together. I love this… aww. My HEART. AHHH- DANCING! My boys!
