hi, as promised here’s a psd pack from yours truly! the psd’s in these pack are made by me (@prkroseannes, @irxne, @thejulias & @thehongjoong) and were compiled in the course of these two last months!

information about this pack:

this pack has 100+ psd’s;

psd’s for dark, the netflix show (it was the first time i did psd’s for non k-content);

BUMKEYZ  TUTORIAL  I:  RETRO  COLORING.

it’s  been  a  hot  minute  since  i  did  an  in  depth  tutorial  on  something.  i  was  never  good  in  the  first  place  so  i’m  sure  i  didn’t  loose  any  skill  when  it  comes  down  to  explaining  things  lmao.  but  anyway  earlier  i  was  asked  how  i  achieved  my  coloring  in  my  current  graphics.  it’s  from  an  old  trend  on  tumblr  way  back  when.  i’m  sure  hidden  in  the  depths  of  this  website  there’s  already  a  tutorial  on  this  but  i  couldn’t  find  it  so  !  yikes  !  i’ll  be  showing  how  y’all  can  go  from  this  to  that.  if  you  found  this  useful  please  like  or  reblog.  thnx  !

BEFORE  YOU  BEGIN:

this  tutorial  is  written  with  the  intention  that  you  already  know  how  to  navigate  photoshop.  this  tutorial  isn’t  complicated  if  you  already  know  the  basics  to  photoshop.  the  version  of  photoshop  i  will  be  using  is  ps6  extended.  before  beginning  please  prepare  a  png,  textures,  and  some  patience.  for  easy  viewing  please  put  /mobile  at  the  end  of  this  posts’  url.

first of all, thank you so much for making me reach 1k followers!! to thank you all, i decided to make this psd pack for you. this contains eight psds, most of which i’ve used for my gifsets at one point. most might probably need some adjusting, but don’t hesitate to ask for help if needed. the psds in the pack are:

very basic colouring and will work on a variety of scenes/lighting

sharpening and psd gives a faded/darkened effect

decrease the opacity of the exposure layer for a lighter gif

change the opacity of the blur layer if it’s not sharp enough

MISCELLANEOUS GIF TEXTURES PACK 002 (portrait format)

Information about these gif : • Dimensions : 640 x 400 px ; • They all weigh less than 3mo ; • The first gif texture contains 45 frames, the second contains 44 frames and makes a perfect loop, the third contains 50 frames, the fourth contains 66 frames and makes a perfect loop, the fifth contains 60 frames and the last one makes a perfect loop and contains 51 frames ; • They are from the app snow animated filters.

Tutorial to apply them on your pic : 1 - Open the gif in Photoshop and show the “timeline” window ; 2 - Select all the layer in the “layer window” ; 3 - Do CMD + G / CTRL + G on the keyboard to put them all in a group ; 4 - Select the group and chose the “Lighten” or “Screen” blend mode (I recommend “screen”) ; 5 - On the timeline, click on the first layer. Copy your personnal pic and paste it under the group with gif texture layers (if you want to add a coloring, I recommend you to add it on your picture, merge all and copy the result, not adding the coloring on the animated file) ; 6 - To save, go to “file menu” ➝ Save for web… (or CMD/CTRL+ALT+UPP+S) and chose gif.

+ here is a graphic/edit template of text + overlaying flowers.

+ depending on how much text you want, you will have to play with the text size so it will fit nicely.

+ you can have a simple background, or a gradient, or a texture, etc. same thing with the text. but, in the psd file, I made the default to gradients. change those if you want.

+ to change the colors of the gradient, double-click on the background or text layer, go to the “gradient overlay” tab, click on the gradient box, double-click on one of the color arrows, change the color, click OK, double-click on the other color arrow, change the color, and click OK.
