A lightweight bar stool chair is perfect for kitchen, bar, dining room and meeting room. It is designed with ergonomics, and wooden leg with backrest.
An Unique 3D Printing Chair from An Artist Designer
This unique 3D printing chair is printed with mycelium, a network of fungal threads. Instead of melting layers of plastic together, the artists workers uses mycelium as 'living glue'. The basic raw material is vegetable waste.
With this way of 3D printing, the artist wants to think about the use of new materials that do not leave a negative footprint. A footprint is what you use up from the earth's natural resources. By printing a chair from mycelium, raw material is actually added to the earth.
The chair is printed layer by layer and, instead of plastic, local waste from arable farming is used for this. This waste is connected by the mycelium. Mushrooms grow out of the chair in a few days, which ensures that the structure becomes very sturdy. If the chair is written off, it can be completely broken down in nature instead of being thrown into the rubbish. This ensures that the soil becomes fertile.
