August 12, day 5 at COSA, we went to Dog Beach in Nahant to do some more seining, infauna, and calculate the elevation of the beach! ๐๐๐๐ฆ it was a bit too hot that day๐ฉ
The rest of the day, we studied the salt marsh at the Forest River Conservation Area in Salem. ๐ We got hot so we took a little break from taking data ๐
August 11, Day 4 of COSA, we spent half the day the Salem Cat Cove at Salem University. We took a tour of the lab and did some more seining in our new outfits ๐๐โบ๏ธ
August 10th, day 3 of COSA, we spent the day at Canoe Beach studying the rocky shore ! โ๏ธ๐๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ we saw sea anemones and thousands of little baby mussels!

August 9th, day 2 of COSA @ the Nahant Wharf collecting data on water quality and epifauna. This is a picture of us getting ready to seine which is basically laying out a net in the water, dragging it to the deep, and then bringing it back to shore to see what we caught! ๐๐ ๐
