Messy Thoughts

I think I have unrealistic expectations of people. Not because I want  them to be more than they are, but because maybe I think they are better than they really are.

Y'all I cleaned my floors today. I have 4 different types of flooring in my house, which means I have 2 different contraptions I use to clean them. It took me forever. And if I'm being honest, I took a break to eat a burrito and watch an episode of NCIS ( love me some Mark Harmon). I kid you not, I had sweat dripping in my eyes. My hair felt like I had just taken a shower. But now my floors are clean. And since I worked so hard today, I will take the rest of the week off.

We live in a world where we not only have the ability, but the right to voice our opinions, say how we feel, agree and disagree. And I would never take that away from anyone. The internet and interactions on it is a tricky thing. Tones cannot be heard. Sarcasm or sensitivity can sometimes not be felt. I have come to understand that people only know what they see or what we tell them. No one really knows who we are, how we feel or what we are thinking. This leaves a lot of interpretation and judgement. It also lends to conflict, animosity, and unwarranted hurt feelings. If there are questions, ask. Don't assume. And especially don't attack. Technology is amazing, but it is not your stage. Private message.

I have been participating in a fit bit challenge for a few weeks. I have learned a few things about me. One, I am apparently super competitive. And two, said competitiveness is not pretty on me.

Looking at adoption dogs trying to find a companion for Charlie. Found a few really cute dogs and then 'Mocha Wisp' popped up. Then I started to notice that most of the pictures look like really bad yearbook photos.

She gives us all Mickey Mouse characters - but I'm a cow.
