It had taken Peter some time to track Katherine down. Hearing that she was now human was the best news that he had received. Ever. Now, her strength was nothing compared to his. Even if she wasnât even close to his strength as a vampire. The point was, she was human, weak and USELESS. Peter did a favour for useless people, if itâs obvious. He had started from Mystic Falls. Of course, he didnât want any run ins with the locals. He knew how many  supernaturals resided there. He may have even threatened a few vampires or two but he had gotten what he wanted. His psychic ability mixed in with his MAGIC had itâs perks. For, here he was. Standing behind Katherine. Tall and proud. Shoulders back and a smug grin on his face. Some kind of blue, electric ball of MAGIC in his right hand. It made crackling sounds and ejected small sparks. The effects of it? Instant death and now that Katherine was human, it made her all that more vulnerable and easier to KILL.
Stepping out of the shadows, Peterâs proud form reminded. âA little birdy told me that the elusive Katherine Pierce is now human. That must SUCK.â Keeping his distance, the blue, electric ball in his hand disappeared. Raising his hands in the air, he closed his eyes. Inhaling a breath, he opened his eyes sharply. The smirk that once stained his lips, now gone. He started chanting a spell, âTempestates et grando.â As he was doing so, lightning started to form in the sky âVIRTUTEM!â With each word, the storm above grew worse. Now, instead of rain, hail poured from the sky. It touched everything but himself. His gaze now on Katherine. To make sure that she didnât get away, he made an ice wall around him. His hands now lowering but the STORM above did not fade one bit. âGelida murum,â the ice wall now appearing. Nothing changed as he snapped out of it, that smug smile returning.
âItâs TIME to meet your enemies.â
A wave of goosebumps prickled Katherineâs skin when she heard Peterâs voice. It took her a few moments for her eyes to adjust to the dimness of the night to make out his face, but she knew it was him without the visual reassurance. She knew that it was pointless to try and outrun the warlock; if she was a vampire she may have stood a chance at escaping, but being a human was entirely different. She was going to have to rely on her charm, and quick tongue to get out of this mess, but with Peter she wasnât even sure it was possible.
â You h-have no idea, â Katherine called out, hoping that she came across as more confident than she was. Truthfully she was terrified, Peter was scary enough when she had immortality. Now all it would take was a swift bash to the head and she could DIE. When the sky opened up and hail began to fall from the sky Katherine was struck with a moment of awe before she realized that it REALLY hurt. She hastily shrunk to the ground, putting her arms over her head and letting the ice pelt her sweater cladded back.
In the midst of getting assaulted with the storm, Katherine heard a crackling around her. She peered out between her arms briefly to see a barrier of ice beginning to form. For a second she thought about getting up and making a run for it before she was caged in ice like an animal. But with the ground covered in shards of ice and more being added to it each second she decided that staying where she was, was probably the best option. That is until she heard, Peter yell out to her that it was time for her to meet her enemies.
Now she was physically shaking, due not only to the unnatural patterns of weather, but also out of fear. Sheâd worked so hard to avoid everyone sheâd ever crossed, and now she was getting served to them on a silver plater.
â Peter, you donât have to do this! â
