Hi there! I'm Kasuna_Kotonoha, but you can just call me Kasuna. Don't have much say about myself, but I post here and on various side blogs relatively frequently. I also have a propensity for making AUs for the fandoms I'm in.

So in the first half of the chorus, each member of MDU gets a solo line as follows

ALIVE

Chitose: Warui ka oujougiwa? (Is giving up wrong?)

CRY

Nozomi: Harattenda taika (Now I’m paying the price)

JIVE

Juis: Wakattenda hikigiwa (I know when its time to quit)

WHY?

Mashu: Nando datte ii sa (Trying over and over is fine)

The second half of the chorus is fully in English with no solo lines and is as follows

ALIVE, Because Im now alive 

CRY, Don’t be afraid to cry 

JIVE, Let me dance to the Jive 

WHY, and still I try why 

What’s interesting is that if you offset the order of the lines by one (first line in first half with second line in second half etc), you get some very interesting line pairs that I think fit each character decently

Nozomi: Now I’m paying the price. Let me dance to the jive 

Juis: I know when it’s time to quit. And still I try why

Mashu: Trying over and over is fine. Because I’m now alive

Mashu’s is especially interesting because his solo line from the first half of the chorus connects right into the second half of the chorus almost like a direct response, and is why I looked at the chorus in this way to begin with. His line even overlaps with the second “Alive”

There's something to be said about the fact he voices 'Keito in a different font'.

Note that some units I don't listen to much, but I couldn't in good conscience put any unit lower than B because no one has outright bad vocals. This is also all in good fun, so don't take this too seriously.

Tiers are in no particular order except for the units placed first in each tier. So MDU, Alkaloid, and Ryuseitai are considered to have the best vocals in their respective tiers

I feel like it’d be easier from an outside perspective, but he’s literally the protagonist the story can’t be entirely perspectives that aren’t his.

Trying to figure out which fan kids I should edit into these cards. I know I want Sumire in the first one as Mafuyu, and Tetsuya and Kotori as Toya and Saki in the second, but I’m not sure who I should edit in for the Shinonomes or Tsukasa.
