You know what? I've been in this site for quite a while already. I think it's time for a proper intro post.

Hiii I'm Kassia!!

I'm an artist, in case the username didn't make it obvious but I also do a bunch of other stuff! I do editing, writing, theories, character/theme analysis, crafts, coding and I'm trying to teach myself sewing! I'm a bit of a jack of all trades ':)

I'm Mexican. I'm also technically already an adult but whatever I don't feel like it sometimes ngl.

I speak Spanish and English (Duh) I'm also trying to learn German! So if anybody has any resources or tips for that it would be super appreciated <3

Here's some of my boundaries bc those are lowkey necessary:

No nsfw. God please don't. I know I'm an adult but I really don't like that stuff. Even suggestive things are uncomfortable, I have enough with having to hear it all day irl I don't want that in my feed

Keep politics and irl events off my page. I already live in a hellhole. I don't wanna see any more tragedy, I'm SICK of it. I know that might seem insensitive but good lord, the internet is literally my only escape from the constant death and tragedy around me let me have this.

By extension of that last one, don't be hateful in my page. I don't wanna hear it. Idc if you think certain people suck or whatever I'm straight up just gonna block you.

Don't send donations to me. I don't have money. I'm not gonna explain my situation bc I don't owe it to strangers on the internet but no matter how much I wish I could help, I just can't afford it. Sorry.

Asks are alright. If you wanna ask me something or show me something you think is cool, feel free to do so! I don't mind c:

Art trades or requests are okay too! But only for mutuals. I might not get to all of them because I always have stuff to do but I'll try my best!

Also, as an extra for my mutuals/friends: Keep in mind that while this is not an excuse at all, I have to highlight the fact that once I get comfortable, I can be VERY teasing. I don't mean harm but I can go overboard. So if you're ever uncomfortable with something I say, PLEASE let me know. It can be privately if you want. I promise I won't get mad, I don't wanna overstep any boundaries.

It's nuts how common it is to not allow children to be angry, even (especially) in households where adults are angry all the time. As a child I knew my own anger was unacceptable--not just expressing it outwardly but feeling it at all. So now as an adult my immediate reaction to my own anger is often to feel guilt instead of like. Noticing when someone is being rude or unfair or my boundaries are being violated or whatever. fucked up.

even though pride month is coming to an end, don't despair! july is disability pride month, which is just as cool and awesome and important - but in previous years, i haven't see a ton of posts or information about it. so, i'm going to do my part in fixing that! each day of disability pride month, i'm going to post a recommendation of a different piece of media with disabled main characters. the goal is to raise some awareness about some cool books/movies/tv shows/documentaries and hopefully get people into the disability pride month spirt! stay tuned for day one on tuesday :)
