You were never meant to be skinny and the ideal beauty standard.

You were meant to be strong,

Able to lift up others who couldn't lift up themselves.

Able to cry and feel the pain of morality

Your ideal body type is what you are.

And you my friend.

Are beautiful, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

But we are all afraid of opening our eyes

Because opening our eyes would make them burn

And we would rather never see the truth

Than to get past the burn

The burn of a thousand fires,

The burn of chlorine

Its only the first page of my comic and I am already crying...

I wanted to write a comic about my best friend and I because we are both extremely suicidal. And I wanted them to have something to read if I lose my battles. The two characters Johnny and Dars are two punk friends who did everything together and with this I wanted to show what losing a friend is like. And I want to show the stages of grief.

EDIT: This is only the 1st page like I said and I am not ready to finish this. I started it, but now I am realizing that I can't even finish it because its so dark.
