I hate when u say “deja vu” out loud n someone ur with goes “what was it?” Like bitch we all can barely communicate the most straightforward ideas without utter confusion and chaos…..u rly believe it is within my capacity to explain exactly what fleeting moment of temporal embodiment made me feel like a vague reincarnated ghost girl trapped in a child’s dream??? Surely u are mistaken.

This is totally true. I actually bumped into Nyle once(well, he almost bumped into me b/c he didn’t see me), and I tapped him on the shoulder and fingerspelled “are you n-y-l-e?” and he was super sweet, took a pic with me and everything, and i told him my name and he said it was nice to meet me and stuff. Know basics! a decent amount of the Deaf community will be happy that you know some stuff! I was able to help a Deaf couple on a plane a few years ago who needed help finding their way to a connecting flight, they were super nice when I told them I could fingerspell and knew a few signs. We spent the whole layover hanging out together :3
