 This story begins with the line that first came to my head "She heard footsteps..." and the rest started to pour out of my brain. The main character is a young woman named Asmire who seems to be trapped by an evil man. All she longs for is to return to her place in her kingdom and to not be anyone's puppet or plaything. She holds someone dear in her heart and wishes to protect him. Will she escape? Is evil really evil? Will love come to those that yearn for it?
