it definitely wasn’t the kind of scene anyone would even assume the blonde bee would be caught in; drinking whatever alcoholic beverage from a flask, surrounded by what only seemed to be older southbankers in the middle of an empty parking lot while loud music blasted from the truck she was sitting on. she stopped counting her drinks after her senses loosened up, only trying to forget about her problems tonight while doing something she would never do in a million years. it was in that moment when one of the guys she was having a laugh with pointed at someone watching her; the girl’s head almost automatically turning in the motioned direction to offer whoever was there a glare. “ —do we have a fucking problem?” 

“Maybe, I was wondering where your cute smile at?” the Southbanker replied with a lighthearted shrug as she walked up to her. He could see there was something wrong with the girl and the crowd she surrounded herself with wasn’t a good one, but he tried to play it cool. “Sorry, I’m late. We’re going to the Big Sky Drive-In, remember?” Raising his eyebrows as he gave the girl a look, one that clearly told her not to play games. “Sorry, fellas. I’m stealing her from you,” He joked.

The sound of the alarm barely penetrated through Lucy’s dream, only waking up more once he said her name the first time. Karim’s voice was soothing; a little groggy from the nap, but she only relaxed more at the familiar sound. Her eyes only fluttered open to look at the clock and the girl sighed, rolling over and nuzzling up into the male’s neck, an arm hugging his torso closer. “Five more minutes…” the queen bee mumbled into his ear, her slender leg sliding between his.

The corners of his lips tugged up slightly when she began speaking. When the girl rolled over, Karim draped his arm comfortably around her waist. “This is really putting my self-restraint to test,” He joked with a chuckle but there was some truth in his words. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t attracted to the girl and even though it was just a cuddle, it sure did something to the boy.

“why not you, though?” she asked, a pout forming on her features. “well, i’m not a freeloader. i’ll pay you back i just didn’t bring my own stash,” she admitted with a small shrug, a small grin spreading across her lips as he handed her a few grams over. “aww, thank you! you’re awesome.” the girl was quick to flash him a charming smile this time around, looking down at the pack before stuffing it inside her small backpack. 

"I like to believe that cute girls don’t get to me,” Karim explained before he shrugged, “We both know I’m dead wrong,” A soft chuckle escaped his lips at his own words. He nodded at her next words but didn’t really believe the girl. People been using his stash and often didn’t give it back so, the boy got used to it. “You’re welcome,” He told her with a small smile.

“Wow dude, a 63%, that’s fucking awesome,” Apollo said, raising his hand to give Karim a high five. He understands the struggle for decent grades, and he’s glad this means that Karim will be able to play on the team. “Dude, Isaac Newton is mad jealous of you skills right now.”

"I know, right?” The boy said as he high fived Apollo. “He should be. I’m writing history,” Karim joked with a playful smile on his face.

Georgina smiled and then sighed at the question. “I’m just trying to look out for my fellow SOBA family.” She told him. “I might be an HBIC but I won’t let anything happen to my fellow SOBA family.”

"Don’t lie, Georgina. I know you only look out for me because I’m the HBIC’s eye candy.” Karim teased before he winked at the girl.

with a nod that followed after him, the blonde grew rather amused as she watched the boy laugh his ass of in front of her; her wide grin spreading across her lips the more he continued on, because it was simply contagious. “oh?” she asked, taking yet another fry and popping into her mouth. “ —shit, i haven’t yet,” she was quick to add with a chuckle, motioning to the backseat of her ocean blue mini cooper; where a pink bong was securely placed. 

Karim actually kind of giggled at some point. Which he would have found embarrassing if he wasn’t high as a kite. Her comment brought out a laugh from him. The boy smoked as soon as he woke up. “What can I say? I got my priorities well set. Just like you do,” He replied with a lighthearted tone, a small smirk curving his lips as he motioned to the fast food. “How did you call it again?”

“Right. Well, math was never my strong suit. It’s honestly a miracle anyone gets it. How’d you forget about Isaac Newton? He’s literally one of the most famous people for physics or whatever.”

He shook his head as he stared at the test. “I don’t think there’s hope for me in this class. Though I’m shocked I even scared this high.” He rubbed his temples slowly. “James is going to help me, but I’m not sure how much help he can really give me.. I’m pretty hopeless when it comes to math.”

"A wise man once said Hakuna Matata,” Karim joked before he shook his head. “I’m sure James can help you out, man. If you doubt yourself you’ll never get better grades. Just think you’re the new Isaac Newton.”

“Dude that’s amazing.” He smiled at Karim as he showed him his test score. “I’m proud.” He said, even though they really didn’t know each other like that–but he did feel proud. “Can’t wait to cheer for you on the field!”

"Thanks, bro.” Karim told him with a smile before looking at him. “Yeah? Are you going to be my own personal cheerleader?”

“I was one of the few people who actually got an A despite sucking at math, so I think she thought I cheated.” 

"Really? How did you get an A? I think 63% is all I can do, man.”

“You know you’re my boo.” Georgina teased and laughed. “Did you just study extra hard for soccer or something?” She asked.

“The one and only,” Karim teased back before he pretended to flip his non-existing long hair over his shoulder. “Why are you always onto me?” Karim questioned. “Yeah, I did. I already got kicked out of two teams, babe. I can’t fuck this one up.”

glancing up at the male one more time, the girl recognized him from one of her classes; but even if she hadn’t, her long leg would still reach up to push the doors of the passenger’s seat open. “you can get one… maybe two.” she instructed, popping one more fry in her mouth. “ —i just love maccas. it’s the bomb.” 

He nods before he grabs two of her burgers. “Thanks,” He knew she said maybe, but no one maybe shares food. Honestly, the girl sounded way too cute saying McDonald's like that. He didn’t mean to laugh, but he couldn’t really stop it either. “Shit, I smoked too much,” he finally said when he was done laughing at the girl.
