How many women does it take to hang a mirror ??
Ok, ok, before all the jokes start coming my way, about checking ourselves out in it,,, etc, etc,
I wish to tell the tale of the other week, when Angelica purchased a big big mirror! and asked her sister if I could hang it !
What does that mean anyway??
It was apparently pick by a new boyfriend and she didn't want to open the box to break the warranty
Then how do we hang it in the box still???
"She was worried it might get a crack in it Karen, and it would need to be returned "
Still, I'm not understanding this?, I packed my handbag with a power drill and as many screws and brackets I could find to mount this sight unseen mirror.
First job was to unwrap the bugger and place it next to the wall to see if it would indeed fit!
Phew, first problem sorted !
I was NOT going to try and rewrap that thing !
Ok, looks simple enough four screws one in each corner
Three screw in ok all looks good, got to number four. top right corner. hit something,,, mmmmm,,,,,
Could be the metal stud work?
Plaster mounting screw blew out now I'm in the merde!! ( french, look it up)
This is why I'm back this afternoon with a new mounting brackets made up to take the weight and hopefully a mirror installed
