it was on a fine tuesday when knights were finally done with their lengthy and tiring dance practice. their live was round the corner and leo was very inspired, having written the best song in his entire life. his words, mind you. ritsu was on the verge of collapsing and sleeping right on the spot when he noticed you haven’t arrived. one glance thrown in the direction of the clock shows it was a few minutes past five.

“eh? a free ticket to your live?”

as hiyori nods his head happily, you looked down at the ticket at hand given by the eden member, and frowned a bit. “tomoe, i know we’re dating and all but, you shouldn’t really give things like this to me for free. you work hard during your live after all, at least let me pay for it.”

“huh? are you saying that y/n-chan doesn’t accept my free token to them? i’m hurt…!”

“n-no it’s not that…! don’t get the wrong idea, i promise. it’s just—you and sazanami-san really do work hard for your live, practices everyday and all of that, s-so i really think it’s not necessary for you to give such an item like this to me just because we’re dating. i’m flattered, but—

your sentence was cut off when hiyori placed a finger on your lips, his smile warmer than ever that made your face heat up. the reasoning of him having tons of fans was a good reason, who could resist such a charm? as you are his lover (hidden away from those fans), it’s your job to provide him the best support and love you could towards your boyfriend. with his job as an idol, and having such an optimistic personality when coming to you—everything in all. however, when receiving such things for free from him, it made you embarrassed a bit. though, as this is hiyori we’re talking about, he reassures you.

“shh, shh, shh…y/n-chan, it’s alright~ besides, this is one time. tickets aren’t that much expensive, anyways. you’re always busy with your duties after all~ at least come to me and jun-kun’s concert just this once~? it’ll make my heart flutter if i see you within the audience with your eyes only on the great hiyori~” the sentence he spoke made your heart flutter instead. he notices this, and chuckles. “ah~ you are adorable indeed. c’mon~! come to eve’s concert, just this one time~? please~??” he began to beg, giving you those puppy dog eyes he uses often to swoon you over.

sighing, you spoke, “fine, fine, just this once.”

“yay~! i’m so happy~!” the male responds, now hugging you close to him. you laughed, “ok, ok…i’m only letting you go this once as well, let me pay for your ticket next time.”

“you can always tell me if you want to come to eden’s or eve’s concerts, i’ll be glad to give you tickets for fre—

“tomoe no.”

hiyori pouted.

after that particular day, hiyori began to become more busy with his idol practices with jun. you two text each other all the time, just frequently when he’s busy that is. you didn’t wanna disturb him after all. you often text jun if you had the chance to see if your boyfriend was doing alright. or even nagisa or ibara from time to time, as you too were starting to grow busy from your studies. university is a bitch.

slowly, the live was close to arriving. every fan of eve was screaming on social media, saying how excited they are and such things fans would say. some were even posting their light sticks online, with different designs and everything. you smiled, hiyori has really come this far, huh? you were so proud of him and his unit.

at the day of the live, you excused yourself from your part-time job to attend the concert. just a simple excuse everyone uses, you weren’t feeling well. but secretly, here you are, waiting in line to show the security your ticket. after your ticket was checked, you quickly head inside the concert arena and chose an area to stay. not too close, nor was it too far, just in the middle. there were already a lot of people inside the room, and did it started to feel a little hot. you looked at the time and it was currently only 4:23pm. around 4:30 his concert will probably begin soon.

so you all waited. the screams were getting louder in every minute you watched the empty stage, people began to push a bit, which made you move to a more behaved location of the area. when the now colored light sticks began to shine, that’s when the fans’ screams grow louder than a before that you thought your eardrums would burst. 4:28pm, it’s almost time. everyone was chanting; ‘eve! eve! eve!’ all and all over again. when the stage’s lights popped open, everyone went berserk. 4:30, it was time.

as the stage flashed the lights, everyone among the audience screamed like children, while you were feeling all sorts of emotions at that moment. you never really saw hiyori performed only with jun, you only saw eden’s concerts and that’s about all. but eve? this was your first time, you were really curious of what song they’ll be performing. out of nowhere, the crowd of fans all yelled louder than before, some were screaming either hiyori’s or jun’s name near your side, and some were even almost crying at the background. eve fans were weird, you gotta say. how did your boyfriend managed to have them?

the thoughts suddenly swooned away from your mind when two figures rose up from the stage, on their positions with the lights from the foot of the stage went dim in the entire room (except for the light sticks). your eyes sparkled at the sight of hiyori in front of you, yet you didn’t scream. you just smiled proudly. the audience too fell silent, and when the eve pair finally stood on the stage with their posture prepared, the faint of music began to play and…

what in the holy name of idols did you just saw?

the beginning dance move made your jaw drop. did…did they just…?

as your eyes stared wide in shock, the crowd was certainly enjoying the show. this, was the ‘special’ training hiyori mentioned to you? you weren’t even sure if you can believe that anymore. it wasn’t like you disliked the performance..! it was just…it made you feel something you weren’t sure you were feeling at all. you don’t know how to put a mind to it, however you were sure this feeling was something you disliked a lot. the two males continued to sing and dance among the faces of the crowd, hiyori’s gorgeous smile never fading away as he grabs jun’s hand that was caressing his cheek, lovingly. they certainly do have…nice, choreography…you had no idea if it was ibara who handed this idea over to them but…it was nice(?).

throughout the concert, all you could do was watch as eve sung through their hearts in their performance. hiyori’s vocals were as impressive as always…but still…you couldn’t help but feel…a little jealous at their moves…the fact that you had to watch them do those kinds of fanservice until the live was done, and boy was this going to be a wild ride for you along with their fans.

as the final lights flickered with such mesmerizing beauty on eve’s stage, their sweat dripping from afar the stage lights that shone throughout the live—your eyes were sparkling from how spectacular eve’s performance was. yet again, you couldn’t shake that feeling away from your head for some reason you would not like to know.

and just like that, the live was over.

bits and bits, all of the fans screamed their lungs out one last time, as both jun and hiyori bowed and said their farewells to the fans before finally leaving the stage. one by one did the fans left their place, while you walked towards the backstage to talk to hiyori. you were sure hiyori had told you to the security who refused to let you see the famous and good looking idol, because when you made it there and told your name, they immediately let you inside of the room where they rest.

upon opening the door, revealed both eve members sitting down on the luxurious like couch—drinking from cold water bottles as they panted from the tiring live they just did with only them performing. when you presence walked inside of the room, hiyori took a moment before he realized it was you. “y/n-chan~! you made it…!” he says, pulling you into a tight hug. the male was sweaty, however he smelled like the perfume he always wears before training or doing his daily concerts. as you chuckled delightfully, hiyori let go of you and you greeted his idol partner with a bow, “hello to you too, sazanami-kun.”

“no need for the formalities, y/n-san, we know each other pretty well. i told you this before, geez…” jun replied as he bashfully looked away. “so~? how was eve’s live? very lively, wasn’t it?”

“ohiisan your puns are terrible.”

“jun-kun! how cruel…!”

you laughed as hiyori gasped dramatically from jun’s honest response. well, they seemed to be looking and acting normal even after what happened to the stage where nearly half of the audience fainted. that includes you. “you two were amazing out there, tomoe. i must say that even if this was my first eve concert, you two never fail to blow me away with your talents,” you told to the both of them with a gentle smile. jun bows his head a bit, showing respect to your answer with small red tinted on his cheeks. hiyori brushes his hair back with a proud grin over hisss face, “right~? well, of course. you’re watching the great hiyori perform on the stage after all~! this time without adam next to our side, too.”

“oh, about adam guess who’s calling right now.” as you and hiyori looked over to jun’s phone screen, it titles; ‘incoming call from nagisa ran.’ hiyori tilts his head, obviously quite perplexed of why their leader was calling. “oh? now why is he calling? is there something that has come up?”

“maybe there was…” you told him with a hint of worry on your tone.

“no idea. but i’ll just answer it—i’ll be right back,” jun says, standing up before leaving the room completely to the two of you, door closing a little from behind. after jun left, you looked over to hiyori who was piercing his gaze at you the entire time. you flinched, “h-hey. why are you staring at me like that?”

“there’s something you’re not telling me, aren’t you?”

“heh..?”

your boyfriend’s grin stretched, almost like a cheshire cat’s swoon smile. you did not like where this was going to but, oh well. “c’mon y/n~ you don’t have to hide it from me~ what is it you wanna ask~?” you stayed silent from that question, looking away from his gaze. hiyori seems to notice this, and grins even more wider. jun wouldn’t be back considering nagisa was calling…so…slowly and steadily, he moves closer to you, so close your noses touched—and you froze. “you wanna know about the first performance me and jun-kun did, do you~?”

cat’s out of the bag. oh dear…

your face burned, and when this caught hiyori’s attention, you knew for sure that this was game over for you. after a few second, you heard him laugh, gleefully. in fact, he laughed quite a little hard from your adorable reaction you gave to him upon predicting what was on your min throughout the entire time. “aww, y/n-chan my dear, you don’t have to fret…! you are just the cutest when flustered~ me and jun-kun were used to doing that~! so it’s absolutely fine, and platonic..!” he says, and you looked away even more, a bit embarrassed of how he found out.

a small soft smile stretches across the male’s face. he loved teasing you, though when you look like that he just can’t help but kiss your forehead and hug you once more. hiyori loves hugging you. not only because you were too cute to look like that, but your body temperature was also quite warm. very approved of his liking. you murmured over his arm, “i-i wasn’t…even about to ask..”

“no need to be shy about hiding it~” he replies, stroking your hair. you nuzzled against hiyori’s touch, from the tip of your hair till it was upwards—every gentle stroke he made was like heaven to you. you felt like a cat at that moment.as the intimate moment was over for a few seconds, hiyori lets go of your body (even if he wanted to hug you more), and beams, “say..! how about we hang out at your place tonight~? no one else, just you and me? we can cuddle and even watch a movie~! what do you say~?” he questions, eyes sparkling from excitement.

you sweatdropped a little. “but tomoe i heard from ibara-san that you guys have an interview tomorrow as eden.”

hiyori pouted.

you sighed. “alright, alright, let’s head to my place tonight…”

your adorable lover smiles widely with your accepted answer, and cheers. honestly, who could say no to him?

jun sazanami

you know, dating an idol really is tough..

not only was it strictly forbidden between producer and the idol themself, but the fans were one of the reasons of why that was caused. for somebody like jun sazanami of eden however, those were the line of boundaries that you needed to know. eden is a very strong and famous unit within the ensemble square industry. considering of the countless amount of fans they now have (not to mention half of their schedule is messing yours a little), talks shows, photoshoot for idol magazines, and other tv programs were a big must for theirs as an idol. and as their producer, you guessed that maybe being by his side wouldn’t cause much trouble as long as you both did it in secret.

it wasn’t your fault, it was jun who had confessed to you one rainy day on a phone call. that day you’ll never forget. cold, but your heart was warm and so was your face. the next day after that happened, he told you how he spoke what he truly felt that rainy night—and how it was really his honest feelings. jun refused to shake it off, and you too as well declined. and so now, here you two are, dating in secret for no one else to know about. heck, if ibara knew about the thing going on between you both who knows what trouble it’ll cause not only to you and jun but the entire idol unit and cosmic production industry.

although…here was the thing. as much as you had to bare with jun pretending like he’s not close to you as much as he is in private, when it was often eve’s turn for you to produce for, it…was kinda hard.

even if eden was a unit of four—consists of jun, hiyori, ibara and their leader, nagisa, each one of them will be partnered up in two and be separate groups named adam and eve. jun was partnered by no one other than hiyori, and was in the group eve. because of this, their fans grew more attached to eve, and also because of this reason, the way his group throws fanservice for them makes you feel…envious. you never told jun about this of course, you didn’t want to ruin their job when they were already doing so well. all you could do was watch as they did so, and you weren’t really good with hiding of what you were feeling.

you see, when it was mostly adam who comes up with a way to satisfy their fans with a little of a thing we call, ‘fanservice,’ they usually would browse for ideas on how to do so by a little bit of flirting within the audience or if that idea wasn’t their cup of tea, would either do a hypnotizing dance until everyone fainted. when it comes to eve however, they take it to another level.

hiyori’s ideas however, are what the common fanservice is like for idol fans. and since jun has respect for the male, he listens to them and takes notes. you too would do the same as their producer. but there was this one thing about them that makes their fanservice a little more unique than adam’s. hiyori’s ideas when it comes to ‘satisfying’ their fans, well…often leaves your jaw dropped on the floor. yet you never heard jun complain once, and gets along with his bright mind. you weren’t sure if he was just forcing himself to or just wanted the training to end.

one of those examples are when you produced for their new song, ‘trap for you.’ the dance moves never failed to make you look away and make your face turn red. you weren’t even sure if your lover noticed this at all. not like it matters much, though you felt like it did.

today, was a day of eve’s live. ibara and nagisa had headed out for a few business trips along with you, although they had sent you back to help along with eve’s live that you officially programmed. with needed signatures here and there, your schedule was packed. soon enough, the room was filled with screaming eve fans everywhere. you headed straight to the member’s changing room if the two of them were finished getting ready and doing their last rehearsal, and thankfully they were.

“i bought this perfume yesterday while i was scrolling to the nearby bakery for a snack~! what a good hiyori~!”

“ohiisan you better hurry up, the live’s about to begin…” jun was basically waiting for his senior at the door, arms crossed while you stood next to his side. soon enough, the two of them hurried off the stage while you guided them with the songs they’ll be holding during their concert. hiyori was first to see the audience from the side of the stage, and sure as predicted, there were thousands waiting at the arena. hiyori’s eyes sparkled in delight, “ah~! our fans are waiting for us, jun-kun..! ah—oh wait…! i completely forgot..!” the male suddenly jolted up from the assistant’s grip who was helping him set his mic piece. jun tilts his head, “what’s the matter?”

“i forgot i was supposed to be wearing that clip for today’s live..! wait here, i’ll be right back…!” hiyori exclaims, though before jun could reply back the male sped off back to their dressing room. you sighed with a facepalm. “hiyori-san is always like this…” you murmured and jun sighs as well, agreeing with you. “apologies for him. i hope this doesn’t up to your schedule, y/n.”

“no worries it’s alright..! you guys are my responsibility after all…!” you replied, and jun smiles softly. “i’m glad you’re not stressing out much about this. still, i really do apologize about ohiisan acting like this when the live’s supposed to begin at this moment. geez, do we really have to do this for the fans? i really do wish ohiisan’s ideas can be something that i’ll get used to…i just wanna spend time with you.”

your cheeks heated a little, and you looked away in order not to let your boyfriend spot the blush that was tainting on your face. “it’s not a bother, really. i’m used to hiyori-san’s actions like that, and honestly it’s really a humor of him to do so. besides, as idols you guys are doing great jobs to get good reviews from the audience,” you said, and jun chuckles. “heh, yeah. i guess you’re right about that one. oh and uh, y/n you have a little bit of something over your cheek..”

“huh? really? where—

your sentence was cut off short and silent when jun soothingly kisses your mouth shut. only the yells of the audience from near the stage could be heard, dozens of them screaming for eve to come out already and begin the concert. jun’s eyes were closed as he moves his mouth a little, adjusting his tongue in your lips, escalating out a short breath. your eyes widen opened in astonishment. the kiss only lasted for seconds, yet for you it felt like a minute. as jun pulled away, he covers his mouth with his arm, face turning away from yours as he mumbled, “i’m sorry..”

“huh..?”

jun looks at you, expression as sheepish as you are. “i’m sorry. i just…you know…missed being with you and..stuff. our schedules are always full lately…i never really got to spend time with you and often these days when you would hold a meeting for the idols along with me, i could always see that you’re a bit gloomy from time to time. tired in other words if i can read expressions well…” he stopped track at his words for a moment before speaking once again, “and the little things we do in order to interact with our audience while i’m secretly dating you probably makes you…i don’t know….upset? i’m so sorry, i promise to make up soon i just—

“jun.”

he stopped as soon as he heard your voice. bashfully, you looked away, “i’m supposed to be the sorry one here. there’s really nothing you’re supposed to say sorry for…it’s you and hiyori-san’s job after all to do those…as your producer, i’m supposed to be handling these well since it’s my job. but…my emotions do get the best of me. i’m baffled…so, it’s ok..” when you smiled at him with those eyes, you knew jun was hypnotized like he was under your spell. “besides, even though i get jealous a little of how you and hiyori-san do your job—

“huh? get jealous?” jun stops you.

“heh?”

a long tranquil atmosphere went by, before the next thing you know that jun was laughing. your face flushed even more. wait—was he pointing out at another thing?! “i thought you were referring to us not spending time enough together but…” he laughed a little more, “i never knew you were jealous because of the fanservice me and hiyori-san do for our fans..pfft—ahah..!”

“t-this is not something to laugh about..!” you quietly screamed, face now completely steaming in embarrassment. you wanted to slap this asshole. but you couldn’t bare yourself to do that. you never realized that jun had already stopped laughing by the time you looked back at his teared up expression. he was…flushed by laughing, and even if he did look stupid, he was stupidly adorable with the bits of small tears pricked on his eyes. you were mesmerized by his sight, as steadily, he pats your head. “what am i supposed to do with you..?” he chuckles, and you swore butterflies erupted out. as he pats your head, jun’s smile never left his face. “i’m really sorry if you had felt that way…i never tried to make you jealous i swear. but it is adorable seeing you like that…”

you looked down on your feet, still embarrassed on how you completely let that word slip from your mouth. jun was still patting your head, “hey, look at me,” he says, and you did. “there’s no reason for you to get jealous. i mean, there is but you know…i’ll cherish you and you only. no one else…” he had an honest tone when he said those. “trust me, i’d only run with you. my lover…”

“jun-kun~! i’m back~! let’s hurry..!”

the intimate moment just like that. jun quickly pulls his hand away from your head and watched hiyori emerged from the direction he had went to from the beginning to grab his ‘clip.’ “took you long enough, ohiisan. everyone’s waiting,” jun was back to his usual self. hiyori sticks his tongue out, “sorry~ now now, we have to hurry on the stage, quickly now~!”

“yeah, yeah…” as hiyori dragged jun out on the stage with him, the male gave you one last smile before the concert began to start.

this time, you watched them with full confidence, and not with the envy you had hold yourself with for a long time. after all, you trust jun with all your heart.

HOW TO TELL WHICH LETTERS TO CAPITALIZE ? look at the syllables.

for words with ONE syllable, only the last letter is capitalized.

for example: triP, catcH, heaT.

then words with MORE than one syllable, the last syllable is always capitalized.

for example: maGIC, magiCIAN, stuPID.

HOW TO TELL WHICH WORDS TO CAPITALIZE ? observe the punctuation marks you add as the words before them are the ones that have capitalized letters.

again, there’s no need to tire out your pretty fingers as only the LAST words have uppercase letters. see examples below and observe:

“Sora is a good kiD, he is always cheerFUL.”

“You are stuPID, Tsumugi.”

“Us magicians are always willing to helP, I can assist you with the help of maGIC.”

so really, if it bothers you, there’s no need to add capital letters in each words per sentence!~

what does he NOT capitalize? usually names, pet names, or words used to address others (like honorifics and stuff). for example: kitten (vomits).

please note that this is just a silly guide and that you still have the right to write his lines however you want!! heck, even i myself write for natsume but i don’t capitalize the words majority of the time. BUT! in case you want to, then may this lil guide help a bit.

why does natsume speak like thaT? he said "By distorting the pronunciation at the end of a sentence, it yields a sense of discomfort.”(wiki) and with that, he ends his sentences with katakana. so in order to give off the same “uncomfortable” feeling in the english server, letters are capitalized.

fun fact: my best friend asked if i major in natsume as one day i just woke up and went “you know what, i wanna observe which words he capitalizes” and rambled about it to them.

and note that this at least how it works majority of the time. i most likely missed a few details but the main point is there already so i won’t bother~

Because I am a bit bored today and doesn't have the motivation to get back writing, I decided to share this a little information where you can read the Ensemble stars english translations that were taken down due to some copy-right and shit. I am fully aware that some of you must be absolutely devasted as hell, especially the newcomers who is still new to Ensemble stars. You will be grateful for the assistance I am about to give you, saving you the time it would take to search Enstars english translation, Anyhow- shall we get started fellas?

(1) Okay, In order to find the English translations, you must first search "Wayback Machine" this is where you are going to be able to read the translations (You can also read Enstars!! here, however the translations hasn't been finished because it got removed)

(2) Once you are on the website, the next step is you should do is search for "Ensemble stars wiki fandom" the english one okay? not that one from japanese one etc. Ehem- after you've done the search, the next thing you got to do is copy the link

(3) After that, you simply need to paste the link into to the search bar like in the image above. Then, for obvious reasons, you must click "Browse History."

(4) The moment you click it, you will be directed to this. It will display the years, months, and days that the Enstars fans updated the English wiki, along with any translations.

Step Five: Click the year 2021

(5) Scroll down to August, after that. the next thing you have to do click is day 18.

(6) Once you click the day 18, you will see this. then the next thing you have to click again is- 00:33:08. Please click the top option, okay??

(7) Blah, Blah, Blah. Once you've clicked '00:33:08' this will appear on your screen, click story, then click Ensemle stars(!) or Ensemble Strars(!!) Then it will show the mainstory, Event & Scout story and so forth. At that point, you could read the entire english translation of Enstars! with your heart contents, there is no need to struggle and hurriedly seek the translations on Google, pretty neat :DD

In front of his door, you tried mustering courage since it’s been a while after all. But before you could gather enough courage, the door sprang open and accidentally knocked you back.

“Jeeez, do you plan on standing there all day? All you have to do is knock or ring the bell.” Unaware that he accidentally knocked you back, he was searching from where you previously stood.

“Good morning, Izumi. Don’t worry, the package’s safe and secured.” Izumi was left dumbfounded as it hit you in a silly way. Still, he pulls you up and brings you inside to check for your safety.

“Izumi, I’m fin-” Cutting your words, he spoke immediately. “You’re not. Seriously, how can a grown adult be this careless?” As he puts ice on your forehead, obviously he was not irritated.

“You haven’t eaten yet, right? My mom made you some salad.” You hoped his attention will shift.

“I can’t just eat knowing that your clumsy hands aren’t made for taking care of yourself. Be a good girl and listen to me once in a while.” Izumi rebuts which left you to comply.

You exchanged simple conversations with Izumi since you find the silence deafening. Casually asking him on how is his model and idol career. But Izumi left you unanswered, so you told your College life instead.

It was only when the ice melted that he answered your inquiry. “Why ask when you already know it? You know so much about the idol and model, Sena Izumi.” Izumi was leading you. Yet you were unsure of what he meant.

“Sena Izumi is my favorite idol and model. He may be fussy and high-strung, but that’s what’s everyone like about him.” You expressed in assurance.

“That’s all? What do you like about him, then? Your own opinion.” This time, Izumi was solemn, and you didn’t like him leading you into something.

You paused for a bit. Remembering what made you like Sena Izumi? But as you try to reminisce, all you could remember were painful memories of you trying to win him over. You trying to set his eyes on you despite him being an idol. You want him selfishly for your own.

Just as the memories were too painful, your tears were falling unwillingly. The room is filled with your sobbing as you try to catch your breath. You couldn’t speak even when you formulate what you wish to say.

Tears falling down your cheeks were wiped by the person in front of you. Wiping it carefully as if you’re fragile, he asked, “What about the Sena Izumi, your childhood friend?” Again, you didn’t like that he was leading you.

“Why are you even asking me these questions, Izumi? I’ve had enough of these feelings. I don’t wanna feel them anymore.” You remove his hand away from your face, but he holds them instead.

“I’ve known you since forever and I can’t imagine my life without you. I have hurt you before, and I’m really sorry for that.” But it’s too late Izumi. Too late to start again as you’ve promised that yourself that these feelings should disappear.

“And as for Yuu-kun…” The pang in your chest was hurting. Maybe because you couldn’t deny that it’s still here. You still loved your childhood friend, despite denying it constantly.

“Don’t tell me you’re jealous of Yuu-kun?” Izumi’s tone changed as if he was trying to tease you. Meeting a force that pushed you to lie on the couch. Your back resting on the soft part, and Izumi topping over you. Hands holding both of your wrists.

“I can’t say I hate it when you get jealous. But I never liked it when you keep your distance from me. So I’ll just say it once..” Releasing your hands from captivity, he leans on your shoulder, his breath tickling you.

“Thank you for being with me.” Arms embracing him, your tears were forming again. Not out of sadness, but from joy as you’ve received what you’ve finally wished.

“Tsk. What the heck are you crying for?” Shifting on your side, he lays your head on his arm.

He then pats your back with his vacant arm, “Just focus on my heartbeat and go to sleep, Princess.” He offered as he kisses your forehead and puts you to sleep.

This time for sure, you and your dearest knight will finally be together.

akito is your rival in preforming. one night, he seen you dancing and singing on the street and you had a pretty sizable audience and though you were good, you could've been better. playing petty, he waits for the song to end before starting his own. he had no intentions of preforming tonight but he easily borrows a speaker from a nearby store and attempts to one-up you.

after his song ends and everyone leaves for the evening, he looks for you. he wants to ask you about his performance, but you're gone so he goes home. the next day, he shows up at the weekend garage to meet up with vivid bad squad, when he sees you. tucked in a corner, sweating slightly and enjoying a drink. he can only assume that you got done performing again. later when toya leaves, an goes to help her father in the back, and kohane goes on to practice on the street, akito makes it to your booth and sits with you.

You decided it has to stop.

Heart crushing into pieces whenever you’re reminded that he will not set his eyes on you, the way you wish too.

Body stiffening whenever he comes close to you just to talk about ****** but never about you.

Headache growing stronger because his words that had cut through you. Constantly repeating.

Senses finally dulling because it was just painful. It was too painful to bear with it.

Yet, you were too in love with him that you could not stop. Too fond of him, that you cling to the memories of the two of you when he wasn’t obsessed with ******.

Yet again, the memories you have are not entirely centered around Izumi. Sure, you may be madly in love with it him. But then you remembered, your family and friends were are here too. They care about you as much as you care about him. Holding these feelings close to your heart, you started believing in yourself.

Perhaps, you weren't exactly meant for him. Nevertheless, you still wished for his happiness at best, and you knew it’s also fine to keep harboring these feelings.

But you promised yourself that you would hold yourself more than him.

As the day chirps in and you pass by Izumi along the road to school, you felt as if you were doing great.

“Hey (Y/N).” Izumi calls to you since he was new to this.

You greet him with no mixture of malice or affection, but was still being polite. “Good morning, Izumi-kun. Is there something you need?”

Loving him but also loving yourself better than anyone could. This time for sure.
