Might be nobody that will read this, but I’ll give it a try anyway and write this to myself then. (and for you who may read this, so sorry for my English!)

During this last couple of years, I hit a new kind of low. Yes I did actually manage to accomplish stuff during 2019-2020 I only could have dreamed of as a child:  1) graduated from med school and are now a working MD.  2) FINALLY paid of my mom’s 20000 $ debt after working just 5 months. (paid it this month!) 3. Stable relationship after many ups and downs. 

However, I’ve never before felt this empty and depressed. Not my first time dealing with depression but this year it hit me really bad. Thinking about it and all of the events that occurred in my life, its normal to feel this way I do however I am TIRED of this feeling so fucking much. After battling depression for 5 years I’ve decided to take antidepressants medication. I’ve been taking Sertraline for a little over 2 weeks for now and I’ve actually started to feel improvement in my mood however I cannot continue relying on this and need to start to create order in my life while the pills are “helping me”.  And to YOU who might read this and who ALSO are battling depression: medication was my last option. I’ve tried in numerous was for 5 years to battling this disease and when I confirmed that nothing works, I started with the medication. However YOU know YOU. If you need them now, get them now. If you want to try out other options before, DO THAT. If you just need to talk to somebody, write to me and we try to fight this together.
