Hello you all can call me Kaltain or Kal for short. Iβm a writerβ¦ of sorts. I am into multiple different things such as Twisted Wonderland, Obey Me, Legends of the Written Realms, Harry Potter, Mythology, Horror(kind of I do have my limits), Indigo Park, FNAF, K-pop demon Hunters, etc.
I am a new fanfic writer(mainly for TWST) and I have several different ideas that I hope to write or inspire people to write who have the same spark for these things.
I am not taking any requests and probably never will but if you want to share your ideas with me then you can. I also accept asks about my writing so if you have a question or comment then my ask box is open. Or if you want to share stuff about reality shifting, deities you worship, or paranormal phenomena that happened to you then you can. I wonβt judge and I find that stuff fascinating.

Anyways remember the AU idea I posted about last night for Aglaea/Anaxa?
Well Iβve come back KICKING (it literally took forever to fall asleep last night because of this idea)
Most probably donβt know what the movie Ladyhawke is and I wonβt fully go over it but basically two lovers are cursed to be apart, the lady being a hawk by day, the other a wolf by night. Until Mouse(not heβs actually name but I keep misspelling it so you know) comes into the picture and helps them.
Anyways so thereβs a bit more to the movie but this isnβt a direct AU of the movie so DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.
Like Iβve mentioned last night Phainon would technically play the role of Mouse in this. Lygus (and by extension Caenis) would play a similar role to the bishop (the one who originally cursed the lovers)
Also thinking back to that one back I really like Six Crimson Cranes, where the MCβs brothers turn intoβ¦ well cranes. They are of noble birth so at night when they turn back into humans the step mother(aka the one who cursed them in the first place) made sure that no one but a select few could recognize them (or at least I think thatβs what happened it has been a hot sec guys).
So yeah at first Phainon would not recognize them and be like βman these two mysterious people are SO familiar where have I seen them before?β Till Hyacine shows up and itβs like a βOHHHHβ moment.
Was also considering memory alteration where Lygus removes heβs memories of them but probably not.
Anyways Iβll probably make another post later actually discussing the plot and how they ended up in this situation. (Mom Aglaea for the win)
Also yes Aglaea will be hawk and Anaxa will be a wolf. Itβs just that you knowβ¦ heβll be a really frail wolfβ¦

Brims with intellectual curiosity, heβs a knowledgeable person.
Loves reading; explores anything that catches his interest until he is satisfied.
Most chopped hair so far, IβM SORRY. I get the way its parted may be a reference to Belleβs hair, but it looks like a receding hairline here. Yellow undercut is interesting I guess, but I hardly noticed it due to the high gold collar of his jacket. He could have had a little bun or even had or a kittle longer and over the shoulder to match the hair she had in her golden ball gown, or even a low ponytail like in her village outfit.
The one thing Iβll give Spalik credit for is the outfit. I love the rose patterning and the incorporation of both Belle and the Beastβs formalwear colors. The down side to the design is that, as weβve seen time and time again with Spalike designs, it does not scream anything uniquelyβBelleβ. Sheβs associated with reading, so maybe they could have shown that somehow. Maybe not as obvious as slapping a graphic T-shirt with a pile of books on, but maybe weaving in squares or rectangles that are vaguely book-like amid the roses or somethingβ¦?
I canβt help but keep seeing their name as RIZZ, which π isnβt the intended effectβ¦ I didnβt know how to interpret their surname exactly, but the one I went with reminds me of clary sage, which is an herb. Maybe I interpreted it wrong, since I donβt understand how that relates to Belle at all. Another interpretation may be βCourageβ, which may refer to her bravery in confronting the Beast and sacrificing herself for her father.
The personality is pretty bog-standard basic Belle (at least the book-loving part of her) with some extra brain cells and fixation thrown in.
Shan/Sean Roselist (Beast)

β¦ Okay π What is going on here?? Why is the Beast properly dark-skinned (even beating most Twst characters in terms of melanin) but HUGH (Goofy) is grey as heck??? The artist just proved they can color it right but I guess chose not to for Goofy??? WHY THOUGHβ¦
The skin color must be inspired by Beastβs fur, while the hair seems mostly to be Adamβs (Beastβs human form) color. Looks fine, though I find the yellow highlights to be unnecessary. I think maybe the one change Iβd make is putting his hair in a ponytail to better match Beast and maybe alter the hair shade.
We get a better front view of the group uniform (or his version of it) here, and I actually really like it! The design and colors really work for me, and I like how his cravat harkens to the Beastβs formalwear + the sash incorporates the rose. The outfit definitely works the best on him because it looks like something Beast wore. The extra detail of Beastβs horns being incorporates as ear cuffs is nice!! I notice that he seems to have a rose marking (the stalk is visible) on his neck; wonder if thatβs related to his βcurseβ or if thatβs just a tattoo or birthmark?? This is like... the least offensive outfit and accessories so far.
Not sure what the first name references but the surname mentions the all-important rose. Is the -list from maybeβ¦ βelistβ, since Beast was originally pompous?
fjdjsbwhodkx THEY MADE BEAST A SHY EMO BOY??? π I mean, yeah, Beast did always read to me as a sensitive guy underneath it all, but I wasnβt expecting that to to be the forefront of this guyβs personality. Itβs refreshing though! He stands out in the cast of otherwise mostly genki types weβve seen so far. I think there might be poor optics from western fans who look at this design, since there tends to be a trend in Asian media where dark skin is tied to animals, and animals, in turn, are depicted as wild or aggressive. Thankfully, Shan/Sean doesnβt seem to be that typeβ¦?
Never thought Iβd say this, but Beast gets the pass along with Mike Wazowski.

Endeloreβs leader, a man of immense self-confidence who believes he was βborn to be lovedβ.
While he loves everyone, Lize (his childhood friend) holds a special place in his heart.
This guy's existence confirms that there CAN be character overlap between Twst and Spalik π€‘ cuz this is Spalik's interpretation of Gaston. RIP my hopes for a Lumiere and Cogsworth duo... On one hand, YAY THAT MEANS TWST CAN STILL GET BEAUTY AND THE BEAST CONTENT, but on the other hand, we might get Spalik versions of Twst characters and they're about to look so mid by comparison.
Even comparing Nicola and Vargas... I can't really tell Nicola is supposed to be inspired by Gaston. Like, where are the muscles??? His bigger, broader build? I get that idols have more of a standard slim look, but COME ON. His variant of the group uniform is at least more visually distinct than the other two so far, but unfortunately nothing about this different uniform screams "Gaston" either. (I guess maybe aside from the more open shirt and the cartoonishly thick belt?) A-And somehow we backtracked to having sliiightly ashy skin...
(Side note, people have been saying he looks like this dude from nu:carnival, an 18+ BL game π)
Not sure what the first name is supposed to be, but "Vaniteer" definitely must come from "vanity". That's Gaston's key personality trait. They seem to maintain this trait in Nicolas's personality too, having him being a confident person and someone who thinks everyone loves him. aefylfaeiyfaepi HT EFAC THT HAT HE CALLS HIS FANS HIS PRINCESSES MAKLES ME GAG (neg) π€’
I find it interesting that he's Lize's childhood friend; I guess that's how Spalik is interpreting Gaston's romantic pursuit of Belle and them coming from the same village. It's wholesome, but I feel like this kind of character composition will lead to the fans making ships between him, Lize, and Shan/Sean.

A single rose granted life by magic.
Possesses a silver tongue that easily slips into thorny sarcasm, though his gentlemanly demeanor remains.
Often teases his close companions, teammates included.
For a character thatβs supposed to be the enchanted rose, there sure is like zero red on this design π Itβs so muchβ¦ green, which is the color of a roseβs leaf and stalk and does not call into mind a flower at all, since the roses on his tunic could be mistaken as a group motif and not an individual one. The monocle is an interesting detail; I wonder if thatβs supposed to be representative of the glass case Beast kept the rose in?? I would have personally gone with some kind of head cover or cage-shaped hat; the monocle seems really random.
The hair color, hairstyle, and face remind me of Anaxa from HSR and Pikero from Fragmem:
The billowing ribbon-sleeves and gem his waist + deep green image color actually makes me think way more of the Enchantress than the rose. I think the design would have worked better if his hair was red + more rose-like in style OR if it was blonde and curled + he was marketed as the Enchantress instead.
I donβt know if this was the intention, but his surname lowkey looks like βsouvenirβ π I-Is it because heβs based on an object??? Or is it like βChauvirβ like βchevalierβ (French for βknightβ).
The personality is anβ¦ interesting interpretation of the rose and what it represents in the BatB story. The rose isnβt directly associated with granting wishes, but itβs been reimagined as almost a sarcastic, smiling butler-adjacent character. Iβm glad they gave Su some kind of βbiteβ to him thanks to this being how they show βevery rose has its thornsβ, but I doubt how mean Spalik will allow him to be as a ceiling.
General Thoughts
The lineup feels odd⦠I feel like Lumiere and Cogsworth would make more sense than Gaston and the rose.
Really like their uniforms and the variations of it. Probably the only group outfit Iβve enjoyed so far.
Definitely like the βvibesβ of this group the best as well. What can I say, I like a good story.
Lack of body type diversity continues π

The rose and Gaston are the worst design offenders, especially given the all-green for the former and lack of muscles for Gaston + people legitimately thinking GASTON GUY was the rose the day before the real rose was revealed. Yeah, one character can be based on multiple ideas, but in this case the Spalik team had a main inspo in mind for their vision and failed to execute it.
Their characters seem the most different within the same group, whereas I felt UPbeats! were mostly cheery and aMazINC were all big bro types. Interesting that they have a trio based on a love triangle in the original, which I feel like will lead to a lot of BL fan content π
Itβs nice to see more variety in skin color, although this makes me wonder why Hugh/Goofy was so weirdly greyβ¦
Iβve been seeing some negative reactions to dark-skinned Beast and Gaston, mainly because βthey made the worst characters (ie someone with anger issues + a narcissist and sexual harasser) melanatedβ or βthey made the most βprimalβ, animalistic characters darkβ. And while I do get where these concerns come from, I think itβs too early to judge right now, especially because the game isnβt even out yet and we donβt know HOW theyβll be written. These characters take inspiration from Disney ones, they arenβt going to be exact copies and I think we should let the new media speak for itself. (Like, do we really think the childhood best friend who cherishes Lize more than anyone else is going to harass him???) And why would we believe this Beast, who has been described as nothing but gentle and shy, would be violent?) I also feel like if these characters didnβt have dark skin, there would then be complaints about the lack of diversityβso its a lose if you do and lose if you donβt situation.
NGL as soon as I consume a piece of media I equate that to another piece of media.
Sooo HSR AU based off of Ladyhawke, Aglaea/Anaxa, minor Mydei/Phainon, Phainon basically playing the role of Mouse, and Lygus being the creep he is because yes XD

Does this actually make sense for Aglaea and Anaxa? Probably not.
Would this be severely out of character? Definitely.
Bro I finished Ladyhawke and MAN it was really good, I wonβt like go into it but it was amazing. Especially the characters they were so good and itβs like URGH.
And like the MC, Philippe was my favorite. Itβs like he escaped from prison only to end up bragging about it to freaking guards (in heβs defense he didnβt know they were guards) and ended up almost dying if it werenβt for Navarre.
He also is kind of a wing man of sorts and like OMG he such a good character the actor did a fantastic job.
