Rita Dress Mashup

So this was inspired by DeeDee’s cropped sweater dress, but I wanted a longer and cosier jumper with the skirt. The jumper is TSL&D’s 3t2 Enchanted Melody Jumper, the skirt is from Amaryll’s Vi Dress and the shoes are from EA/Maxis.

YF-AF only, all morphs included. Everyday and Formal.

There are 10 colours available, mainly the original jumper colours by TSLD but I added a few extras. You can view the swatch here.

4t2 Trillyke Don’t Give a What Dress

As soon as I saw this dress by @trillyke I knew I had to convert it, especially because it has so many witchy recolours! It is paired with Semller’s Acne Taurus Shoes converted by AlwaysSims2.

These are recolors of the Chinco Shorts. Because why have redundant meshes? Mesh included. Everyday->Separates->Bottoms.

Am I the only one bothered by EA’s turquoise weeds? Or are weeds like this really turqouise? Anyhow! If you want them green and more pink/colorful, this default is for you ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)b

The file has been compressed to reduce file size and remember you can only have one default replacement for “weeds-surface_txtr” in your downloads folder at a time. If you’re interested, HugeLunatic has made the weeds buyable here.

Functional deodorant!

I admit I got this idea when I was working on the bathroom scene in chapter 6, and I also admit it turned out a bit ambitious, but here we are!

It’s a deodorant object that can be found in Plumbing/Misc. When sims use it, it raises their hygiene a bit. It’s also usable from the inventory. Sims can use it 3 times, then it gets deleted (no unlimited deodorant, sorry :P). It uses the perfume animation, so it’s a bit weird for a deodorant, but that was the best I could do!

Credits go to Parsimonious, because I used one of their perfume as a base, Annevs for the deodorant mesh I edited, and Franzillasims for the simlish font. As usual many and more thanks go to the amazing Midge, who held my hand during the whole process!

Just a heads up: if you want to make recolors, make sure you include not just the mesh, but the social plugin too (that’s what makes it usable from the inventory). If you want to clone it and use a different mesh, you need to clone the plugin as well, and change the guids in the bhavs.

That’s all, I think! Please tell me if anything is wrong, and I’ll try to fix it :)

so this one’s more the kind of thing that lands u on simsecret experimental and looks ridic until ur eyes adjust. one thing i really like about clothes in ts4 is how square and dramatic the shoulders are and i wanted to see if i could recreate it by making a marlene dietrich type uber-structured tux. it took a hilariously long time but i did manage it eventually, so here’s the mash up of the blazer from realm of magic and some pants from city living. af + black color only, with fat morph + heels by bunhead

another niche offering, this is the fedora from roaring heights, i wanted a proper mad-menesque one for ages. 99% of hairs will clip through it, u need super slicked back hairs for it. for am and em, comes in brown, black, and grey

Ruffles And Lace Dress (a mashup)

Oh look, I finished a mashup! (I also started a bunch of new ones, but we’ll talk about that later XD) It ended up looking better than I expected and I didn’t even have to fight that much with the textures, so double yay!

This is a mashup of my previous Ruffles And Lace top and a dress from the celebrations SP. They’re for AF and TF, they have the appropriate morphs. I’ve made 5 boring-ish recolors (please make more, here’s the PSD). As usual, you can choose if you want the TF files repo’d to the AF files, or not. Shoes on the fullbody ones are by Trapping :)

seeing as in ts2 we don’t really use blender i thought i’d write this mini tut for anyone else who like me, didn’t know about this. i’ve written this from the perspective of the turbo blender noob i am, so you don’t need any previous knowledge of blender to use this. as you can see in the gif, this tip doesn’t extinguish black spots completely, but it does tone them down significantly, making the regrouping removal process way more painless. so:

A mod that makes newly bought stereos choose a random station when being turned on for the first time instead of always choosing salsa.

Should also work with custom stereos.

Required mod: Smarter EP Check

Required EPs: None, though the more expansion packs you have, the more radio stations it can choose. Unfortunately, radio stations from Bon Voyage and Freetime are excluded since they work differently for some reason? You can always choose these stations manually if you want. The list of stations with their expansion pack can be found in the zip file.

WeBluePeace’s Top Crop Sweater for TF and EF (requested by anon)

With this mod, residents of dormitories are picked randomly (originally, lowest-numbered Sims were chosen) from the pool of unplayable students who don’t have keys to rooms on occupied lots. If a dormitory they lived in isn’t occupied or no longer exists, their keys get destroyed and they can move to another dormitory. Originally, in such a situation they were trapped and couldn’t live anywhere else.

Conflicts

Dormie Gender Controller by twojeffs conflicts with this mod. They can be used together as long as twojeffs’ mod loads after mine.

Trillyke’s Magnolia Jeans with Positive Sneakers or Pixicat Vans

The amazing @itsdiamondeyesuniverse​ made me two shoeswaps of these jeans, and I had some fun copy-pasting recolours. Each version includes five printed and five plain jeans, for both AF and TF. Teen files are slaved to adult files.

After seeing these alien recolours by @vixsims of these Mayberries’ skins, I had the idea of turning those birthmarks into overlays, so they can be combined with any skin and used without having any custom skin in your game. So that’s exactly what I did, with a lot of help from the wonderful @episims​, who separated those birthmarks from the skins, fixed them and made a bunch of recolours. They are semi-transparent, so they look different over different skintones, and come in ten “natural” colours (Ivory to Licorice) and eight “alien” colours (Mint to Orange), but here’s Epi’s PSD in case anyone wants to make more recolours!

The overlays are applied through a box, which is a mannequin head found in Misc/Dressers for 25§, and work from baby to elder (although body birthmarks don’t look great on babies, because of the mapping). It has to be placed on the floor to be used as an overlay box. Plantsims and werewolves can’t use it for adding birthmarks, just for removing them. As far as I know, there are no problems with other supernaturals, but let me know if you find any, and enjoy!

I extracted the television shows from Sims 3 for my own game and thought they might be of use to someone else. There are black and white versions of some of the videos in a separate folder. One of the clips featured TS3 Sims instead of TS2 Sims. It’s labeled so people who don’t want that one can delete it.

Hidden toddler/Pet interaction unlocked. This has been in the game the whole time, but Maxis accidentally coded it in a way that it would never appear unless you used the allmenus cheat.
