“You are welcome, if you ever want to hear it again, just let me know. Oh yeah, try not to laugh, it will keep you from being nervous but it may make you laugh. If it does just pretend you are coughing. Anyways, your character laughs throughout the play, right? Mischievously, but she does anyways. Thanks, that means a lot, Kai.”

“I don’t think it would be very in character if I laughed in a hysterical manner but I suppose a cough could cover it or maybe a coy hand over the mouth move. And yes I could definitely make it into a Kathryn sort of laugh. Please after all the fluffing of my ego that just occurred that’s the least I can say!”

“That’s a movie, right…?”

“Yes and a fairly popular movie or so I’ve been told.”

“New Year’s weekend?You’re really pushing it here, but I suppose I could stick around foran old friend. – you can’t compare Darlington to Italy. Italy isso— Italy. Just look around us…”  

“I would love it very much if you did! And I know I can’t I was just trying to convince you since it would mean a lot to me if you were there.”

“You know there’s a bar just down the street, I’ll try to get us into the VIP section” she smirked at her other half “but I can’t promise anything”.

“That would be amazing and honestly it’s the thought that counts so I’m really good with whatever we end up doing. You being at the show is even enough for me.”

“You’re angry at the wrong person, midget.”

“Actually I wasn’t angry until you appeared, jerk.”

“Isn’t she? Now you’re just being way too sweet but thank you. I’m beyond thrilled about this and I just hope everyone enjoys it.”

“I don’t really see how I’d be able to do that. Especially while working, and it’s not like I can quit my job to focus on music, you know? Basically, yeah. My family and all my friends live here… I wouldn’t be able to live anywhere else, and I don’t really want to. I thought long and hard about this, and I decided that I’d be happier staying here. That’s nice of you, though.” 

“You shouldn’t be so down about your dreams. It doesn’t hurt to continue to try for one thing while also living your life. I have a job, go to school and still manage to see my family and friends. If you want it badly enough then you’ll find a way.”

“Heard of it. Not too good at it.”

“How unfortunate. I’ll just let you get back to being a hobo then.”

“Oh you know, sister issues, trying to write songs, and trying to keep my life in order. The usual.”

“Sounds thrilling. Well if you need a break at any time you know where to find me.”

“How old did you think I am? I’ve been to a bunch of and I sneak downstairs sometimes when my parents or Harry’s watching something, so.”

“Oh well at first glance I thought thirteen but I barely even pass for my own age so I should have probably rethought that. Although I don’t want to encourage sneaking.”

“Like I said, you’ll be fine. It’s going to be great I promise.”

“Thanks for saying so. Anyways what have you been up to lately?”

“What can I say? We aim to please.”

“You do a very good job. Just let me know if you guys ever need anything. I’d love to help since you’re always so good to me.”

“I’m sure it was. Nah… I doubt it. I mean, like I said, you can’t really have a successful career in music while living here and I’d never be able to leave Darlington. For personal reasons, I mean. That’s mostly why I’m a DJ now and barely play anymore. 

“I think if you want a successful career while living here then it wouldn’t hurt to at least try. Besides why are you stuck here? Any specific reason or just because it’s home? Oh and by the way if you ever need an audience I’ll be there and bring everyone I know with me. You can totally play more if you want.”
