One thing I also really like about Kuroko no Basket is the fact that the endings have something that is so unique and I don't know any other anime who does it (nonetheless I don't watch that many anime to be a judge tho).
Everyone who watches it obviously knows what I'm talking about. That one frame in every ending that changes every episode. I just finished looking through all of the episodes for them with my sister, actually.
Ending 1 [Start It Right Away], the frames are moving still images (with the exception of iirc ep 3, in which the image is Kise posing but then it changed to Kasamatsu kicking him, hilarious).
Ending 2 [Catal Rhythm], the frames start telling a story of some of them playing street basketball together. It was Kuroko, Kagami, Hyuuga, Izuki, Kiyoshi, Kise, Kasamatsu, Midorima, Takao, Aomine, Imayoshi, and Sakurai with Riko and Momoi as well. This one is probably the most well-known one.
Ending 3 [Walk], the frames are Nigou's journey when he walks (heh) around Tokyo(???) and meet every GoM team coincidentally (except Kaijou who are inside a store and Rakuzan who hasn't appeared in the anime yet).
Ending 4 [Fantastic Tune], the frames show that some members of the GoM painting a wall of a basketball court (again, excluding Rakuzan although Akashi did appear in one frame).
Ending 5 [Glitter Days], the frames are them inviting kids to learn basketball. This one is definitely the cutest because you can see how each one of them taught the kids basketball (even though Kagami and Aomine seemed to just playing one on one with each other, lmao).
Ending 6 [Ambivalence] is the only one without these unique frames. Although the fact that this ending is only used for 4 episodes is probably one of the reasons why it didn't. "The ending animation is special enough" said my sister who absolutely adores the Teikou arc.
Now, finally, ending 7 [Lantana] is the coolest one. There are 9 episodes that used it. In every two episodes, the ending shows different stages of the GoM character development, with the last one being the light and shadow duo of each team. The frames that change in each one are the teams together one by one. The order goes Shuutoku, Kaijou, Touou, Yosen, Seiho (with Haizaki cameo), the coaches, Kirisaki Daiichi, Rakuzan, and lastly Seirin.
And then, of course, the "see you next week" end cards, where you can just see the characters being illustrated as gay as possible (/hj). Though, some of them actually tell a story of their own, which is also very cool.
