What's this?! An Invader Zim redraw that ISN'T the same one I redraw every year?! What a shock!

But all seriousness, I really wanted to redraw this scene in particular because it was the first time my body tensed up while watching, with the only other times I experienced the same reaction to the scene was when Crypto tricked Armquist in Destroy All Humans and the entirety of a movie I saw with my boyfriend called The Drama.

Back when I was a kid in highschool, I was terrified of Zim's human disguise, not just because of the two episodes that scarred me(Dark Harvest and Bestest Friend) but because there was something about his disguise that made me feel really uncomfortable. Maybe it's just the idea of an alien just wearing a wig and human-like eye contacts freaked me out back then. When I watched the movie back 2019 as a teen, I was as scared of Zim as I was before, but then this scene happened and my fear of his disguise returned to me for a moment. In fact, there were two scenes that made my fear return for a moment, this scene and a scene at the start of movie were Zim slowly turned to the camera before it transitions to him sitting in the official hiding place. I don't know why I thought this, but when that scene happened, it made me feel like Zim knew I was watching and was amused by my reaction. Now that I'm an adult, I'm not as scared of Zim's disguise or both of those scene, but the peace is nice scene does still make me a little anxious when I rewatch it, especially when I know what will happen next.

Anyway, I may have accidentally made my version of scene more creepy so enjoy trying to sleep tonight after seeing this.

Heya peeps, happy pride month. Last Friday, me and my boyfriend, @thomasjpbirchall , went to see The Backrooms movie. Aside from seeing memes of this series, I didn't really know much about The Backrooms, so the movie was my first time learning about it. Is the movie good? Yes, yes it is. I really liked the movie! While I do have some small critiques of it, it was still a really fun watch, despite it scaring me really easily(I don't do really well with horror movies lol).

So why is Kestrel and Tink in the backrooms? I honestly don't know. I was still thinking about the movie last night and just started drawing this picture out of boredom.

As I mentioned in Kim's post, Kaeru was given to her as a Froakie when she was ten years old. Kaeru is a very special Pokémon because he is not only Kimura's strongest and most loyal Pokémon, but he was the first Pokémon in years to unlock a rare and ancient form thanks to his strong bond with Kim and their ability to use aura: Auroric Bond, a rare ancient form that can only be achieved if both trainer and Pokémon are aura users and have a strong bond.

(I'll probably make an in depth post about Auroric Bond with my friend jeanic in the future. Just think of it as our Pokémon universe's version of Battle Bond but if it required the trainer and Pokémon to be aura users and have a strong bond)

Meet Kimura Frost: daughter of Aaron and Chantelle Frost, niece of Professor Augustine Sycamore, former champion of Kalos and now the leader of her own adventure/rescue team Team Northstar.

Kimura was born on the 16th of October 1998(which currently makes her 27) along with her twin brother Elijah Frost and inherited her late father's adventurous spirit. After an forest fire incident that resulted in 10 year old Kimura having to get her amputated, she received her first Pokémon, a young Froakie named Kaeru, from her father as a therapy Pokémon and the two have been best friends since. Kimura's adventure truly started when she was 15, 2 years after her father passed away, and travelled around the regions once a year for 8 years. Eventually, after the events of Z-A, Kimura formed Team Northstar with some old friends and moved Sinnoh, where she is dedicating her life to not only continue her adventures(with her first adventure with Team Northstar being an adventure in Paldea), but also to make the world a better place for both people and Pokémon.

I'M BACK IN THE FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN!!! Anyway, I have been working on Spectacular SheZow behind the scenes while busy with Guardians Of Avalon and I figured out a way for Ash creating and becoming SheZap could work in the AU. This drawing is a mini confrontation Ash and Kelly had before the fight between SheZap and SheZow. I'll make a post soon going into detail about how Ash will become SheZap. Alsoooo, I know you might have seen it before but how do you like the outfit Kelly is wearing? I'm planning on having the characters wear different outfits aside from their main outfits at certain points in the AU.

Spectacular SheZow AU Character Designs: The Main Four

Damien(Gaia/Gai) Hamdon: Damien, mostly going by his nickname Gai(short for his other nickname Gaia), is the main character and leader of the main four. He bonded with the Glamazon ring that once belonged to his Great Aunt Agnes and became Megadale's newest SheZow. While Irresponsible and cocky at times, Gai does want to continue his Great Aunt's legacy by protecting others with his new powers.

Maz Kelper: Maz is the second member of the main four and was Gai's first best friend that he met on his first day at his new high school. Maz became Gai's first sidekick as SheZow and offers emotional support and is always ready to help his friends out if they need it, though he has trouble sticking with a sidekick persona due to his strong imagination.

Kelly Hamdon: Kelly is the third member of the main four and Gai's older twin sister(5 minutes older than him to be precised). Kelly is a SheZow expert and is working to be a fashion designer when she is older. She can be bossy at times but she has a reason to be like that, her brother can be stubborn at times and needs to pointed in the right direction but aside from that, she is overall a polite, mature and social.

Ash Robinson: Ash is the final member of the main four, the second friend Gai met on his first day at school and is in a relationship with Kelly. Ash serves their role in the team as the weapons/gadgets expert/designer, mechanic and helps Sheila with forensic testing(well most of the time, Sheila helps them with it). While Ash mostly stays in the She-lair with Kelly and Sheila but other times, Ash does assist Gai and Maz as a second sidekick or as a substitute sidekick incase Maz isn't around.

I saw this funny video on Tiktok, so I just had to recreate it with Kelly and Ash. Also, I decided to keep in Kelly's love for rainy days in the AU and make Ash absolutely hate them.

Lore time! So for my version of the character in the au, I made Tara an ex student of Agnes Monroe/SheZow who had gone rogue after years of being in her mentor's shadow. As a result, Tara started hunting down Superheroes and even killing some of them(this is how she got the name WidowMaker) until Agnes had to stop her. Tara was imprisoned in a highly secured prison for about 20 years before breaking out long after Gai became SheZow. She is a skilled fighter/weapons expert with an arsenal of gadgets/weapons. She rarely shows rage on her face but rather her fighting, a master of disguise and has been deemed the most dangerous member of S.I.C.K.

Okay so me getting invested in one of my favourite childhood shows again and making an oc because of a reboot was not on my 2024 bingo card.

But yeah, just like my SheZow phase, my childhood fairly odd parents phase finally returned to me years later and I made an oc because of it.

(Oh btw, I know Peri/adult poof doesn't have a tie in a new wish but I accidentally added it to him both in the sketch and digital lineart and it was to late to get rid of it, so let's just pretend either Kari or Cosmo and Wanda gave it to him in the drawing.)
