I am enjoying the different patterns, but I do feel like it is overpriced for the amount of yarn and patterning that I get each month…

I SO enjoyed this book. I loved getting to know each character, I feel like they were all very well developed and all so different. I kept thinking of my sisters and Coco Mellors really did do a good job in portraying what those sister dynamics can be like. Honestly, I love bein a part a little sister clan, there really is something magical in having that growing up and through life.
I have never struggled with addiction so I cannot speak to how accurate those depictions were, but from my perspective I think it brought some god awareness of what that might feel like for some people. Again, that is coming from someone who has not gone through those experiences.
In terms of the story line, I love that they each had something they were struggling with to varying degrees and it did seem a little too convenient that they all found their resolution at the same time. The last chapter or two were a little too perfect to be believable, especially after the entire story really wasn't (which is what made it relatable and believable imo), so I wish the conclusion was a bit different, but I respect it.
The epilogue was great, loved seeing them ten years later. There might be something that went over my head completely, but I didn't quite understand all of Lucky's resolution. She has some success as a musician, relapsed, but was now a part of a traveling AA group? I'll have to reread that last bit, I might have missed something big lol

Started something new today. Super curious about the series and manga in general! Excited to see where this goes!
En Agosto Nos Vemos by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
This was my first adult book in Spanish and I liked that it was short and after the first few chapters I got the hang of it. Glad I started with a short book and it was an entertaining story but I did feel a little in the dark with the ending. I think a lot of things could have been fleshed out and I wish I'd had more details. I'm guessing that just comes with the territory of a post- humous story. This was a 2.5 star read for me, but I do want to read more of Gabriel Garcia Marquez in Spanish.

I just finished reading Seven Days in June by Tia Williams and, oh my goodness, it was so worth the hype.
It took me a few chapters to get into it but as soon as we are introduced to the love interest, I was hooked!! This was such a good romance, not exactly "rom- com" romance because the struggles they went through were very real. Tia does a great job keeping things light while still maneuvering exposure to some harsh and difficult realities.
This was SO good, the tension was perfect, even the spicy scenes were perfect sometimes I find those to be a little overdone but this was perfect. I loved seeing so many other relationships and I loved being invested in so many characters besides just the couple. I'm definitely going to read more by Tia Williams.
