also btw. if you start drawing and (physical limitations such as injury or illness aside) all your art is inexplicably feeling stiff or uninspired when you were fine before. the reason is not that youre suddenly just bad at art. its because youve just started drawing for the day/session. nobody wakes up and immediately starts sprinting around full speed to work out, theres a reason 'warmups' are a thing both in sports and art.
basically, dont quit just yet if your 'light jog' art isnt the same as your 'full sprint' art was yesterday. youll get back into it.
i know this task may seem tedious at times but i find that if i’m in a dirty, cluttered area (cluttered with things other than agere stuff hehe), then i focus on the mess around me the whole time
2.) Get in clothes that make you feel small
i only have one onesie to wear when i want to regress, so when it’s dirty i’ll put on some clothes that are way too big for me instead. baggy shirts that hang off you and pants that flop when you walk :0 bonus points if you have cute slippers/socks
3.) Put on a kids’ show or comfort show
even if i don’t plan on watching it, i’ll always put on my favorite show as background noise. something that i know will make me small and/or remind me of my childhood. try to think of shows you watched as a child or would watch as a child
4.) Keep a stuffie close
i always try to keep my favorite stuffie within arm’s length for quick cuddling. as a child i was big on stuffed animals and i still am! having something soft and plush to pet and squeeze as much as i like makes things much lighter. if you don’t have a stuffie, maybe try a comfort item
5.) Use a paci or teether
i find that using an adult pacifier when i want to regress will help push me into the headspace faster. i have a teeth grinding problem so chewing on something also helps with that. i try not to use a paci while i sleep though because it hurts the roof of my mouth. if you don’t have a paci or teether, maybe look into chewelry
6.) Occupy your brain
my brain tends to obsess over if i’m regressed or not and i’ll always ask myself “do i actually feel small?” but by doing simple things like coloring or doodling or building legos (or even playing an easy game like minecraft or roblox), i can focus on being present in the moment

Top Row, Left Image: Captain Olive the Otter. Adventurous, confident, loud. She's located in the water park and has a whole pirate ship area of the park for her and her crew.
Top Row, Right Image: Miss Fauna the Deer. Soft-spoken, patient, gentle. She is the park's librarian in the magical library where she lives in and tends to a giant tree serving as it's base.
Bottom Row, Left Image: Curator Arthur the Turnspit Dog. Cautious, scholarly, busy. He's found in the park's history museum, often specifically in his office or in the archives.
Bottom Row, Right Image: Monica and Angelica the Shopkeepers. Monica (orange hair) is rather straight-laced and collected in comparison to her excitable and optimistic sister Angelica (red hair). They're a package deal (for now) seeing as they run the park's shop together.

this is soooo late in the day but i finally did it!! last night i posted the first chapter of warm-blooded, the little bakugo + vampire found family fic i've been hyperfixated in the background since JANUARY!! and i've finally published the first chapter!! ૮₍ ´ ꒳ `₎ა

this fic was mainly inspired by @/softpawpup's most recent post, its literally 9pm and i have to wake up tomorrow at like 4am for an early morning shift but ik if i didn't write it now, i never would so,,hope u enjoy!
Izuku loves Sunday nights. Because Sunday nights are when his and Tenya's schedules are clear, and they can both take care of Katsuki together.
Tenya was in the kitchen downstairs, wiping down the countertops with a damp cloth with one hand and holding Katsuki on his hip with the other.
Katsuki's 8:00 pm bedtime was soon to be arriving, and he was just about ready to be put down. Tenya had just given him his bottle and burped him not too long ago. In fact, his burping cloth was still hanging over his shoulder just underneath the little one's chin.
When Tenya hears footsteps nearby, he turns and smiles cheerfully when he sees Izuku coming near.
Izuku dusts off his hands. "That should be all of them! Now all of his toys are in his toy chest upstairs." And he beams when he sees how cozy his boyfriend looks in Tenya's arms.
He coos, reaching out and tickling Katsuki's side. "You look so sleepy, Kacchan…! Are you ready to go to bed?"
The little one jostles only slightly when he's tickled, wrapping his arms around Tenya's neck to snuggle into them a little more. The burping towel falls off his shoulders, but Izuku is quick to catch it.
Izuku giggles before he really pays attention to the fact that Tenya was cleaning up the kitchen.
"Wh—you cleaned the kitchen?"
"Mhm." Tenya nods, still smiling.
"You didn't need to do that, Tenya!" He puts his hands on his hips, upset that he left all this work for his friend. "I was gonna do it when I was finished cleaning. I know you like holding Kacchan after he's done feeding."
That is true; he does like to do that, but—"On the contrary! I cleaned up so that our tasks today would be evenly split, as I noticed you were taking more work on than I. Besides, I don't mind multitasking."
Izuku hums, "If you're sure…"
"In fact," Tenya starts adjusting his hold on Katsuki and gets closer to Izuku to lend him over. "He was looking for you after you left. I think he'd like for you to hold him now."
Izuku almost protests, but when he sees the way Katsuki focuses on him and the tiny smile that spreads from ear to ear—how can he refuse?
With the kitchen cleaned and their little one fed for the night, they both make their way up to Katsuki's bedroom and get him ready for bed. Katsuki was the only one out of the three of them who wasn't wearing pajamas yet, so he changed into some plaid sweatpants and a skull tee to get himself comfortable.
Because Tenya was permitted (by a mentally older Katsuki), he got under the covers on Katsuki's left, and Izuku got comfortable on his right side, bringing him close to his chest and lying the little one's head in the nook of his neck.
Katsuki was so giddy for someone who was so sleepy a minute ago. He kicked his feet out happily, clenching and unclenching Izuku's shirt as he giggled and babbled about how he was gonna stay awake this time, for sure!
But the minute Tenya whips out Katsuki's favorite bedtime story, "The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight" by R.L. Stine, he's out before they can even finish the chapter. As they find a pacifier for Katsuki to suck on for the night, Izuku is already planning out what they're going to do next Sunday when their schedules are free.

most often after bottle feeding you can find bakugou drowsily being burped on izuku's chest
izuku has had to adjust to bakugou secretly stealing lots of his hero memorabilia to use as toys
i think bakugou was happiest while regressed when izuku got him one of those outdoor sensory play sets where you can put water and/or sand and dirt in them and then use monster trucks and stuff
izuku has to fight tooth and nail to clean bakugou up at the end of the night. bath time isn't the hardest part. its the tooth brushing and cleaning his nails and taking care of his hair thats the hard part
bakugou made izuku promise he wouldn't tell all-might (or anyone else) about the regression for as long as possible
feeding baby bakugou can sometimes be like feeding an incredibly picky cat. izuku has to put them in the right shape, the right plate, with the right drink, etc. but thankfully bakugou does like his fruits and veggies more than a typical kiddo
bakugou doesn't neccesarily like to be read aloud to, but he likes izuku to sit beside him and they read a storybook together but quietly
izuku loves giving bakugou tummy time. he sets bakugou up with all the things he needs and then writes in his notebook or works on pro-hero things while the baby plays with his sensory mats
