Hey, seems like tumblr changed the way the notifications come through and I just noticed this.

I would absolutely tell my daughter about that time of my life. I think it’s valuable. I learned an incredible amount about myself, other people, and so much more while I was a hostess.

I also know that I would wait until I felt she had a stable sense of identity and her own life goals first. I would not be upset if she decided to pursue the same route, but I wouldn’t want to sway her one way or the other. Hostessing isn’t a life goal - it’s a means to an end.
