once again pissed that life is 20% more difficult when ur functionally single (living alone in any capacity, basically). this world is BUILT on amatonormative expectations and reinforces them so severely that it punishes single/functionally single people for the crime of not living with someone else (for literally any reason!!!)

once you start seeing it you do not ever stop it's crazy ;; food comes in servings perfect for multiples of two! medical care comes with the expectation someone can look after you at home! rent for a one bed is almost impossible for one person! it's everywhere! it's systemic!!!

NOT TO MENTION❗❗❗ how this structure makes it SO MUCH HARDER for people to leave abusive and unhealthy relationships on a literal structural level LET ALONE the societal judgement there's literal financial and physical ramifications to leaving a partnership that is not healthy !!!

if the world was built for single people to exist independently healthier love and relationships would come from it i fucking promise you that

NOT that we need the reason of "better love" to provide better lives for literally everyone (YOU WILL ALL BE FUNCTIONALLY SINGLE AT SOME POINT IN UR LIFE EVEN IF U SHACKED UP WITH UR HIGH SCHOOL LOVER AGES 18!!!) but it's a solid way to get the point across to the society we live in

listen i'm not saying anything groundbreaking here i'm sure smarter people have said it better but it's on my mind lately!! graahhhgh!!!!!!!!

[ID: a 5 page comic between a human and an angel.

The human murmurs, "I kind of wish… I was immortal." The angel asks, "What do you mean?"

The human responds, "like, y'know! Last forever 'n stuff? To outlast my limited eternity… wouldn't that be somethin'?" and thinks to itself.

The angel responds, "I see... well..." The angel pauses for a moment, before continuing, "your friend? Whom you used to speak to frequently?"

The human responds, "What about them?" The angel continues, "They still use phrases learned from you."

The human pauses for a moment, before saying, "Well that doesn't feel nice to hear... How long has it been?"

The angel answers, "Years, I believe."

The human, upset, murmurs, "What was the point of bringing them up? To make me feel hurt? Lonely? What?"

The angel takes a moment, before responding, "I do not believe... we see eye to eye."

The angel continues, "A part of you lives on through them, no matter how small or distant, and not just them, but many."

"What do you mean you aren't immortal?"

The human stares somberly at the angel, before responding, "Haha, I guess so! I think I get what you mean now, but I still wanna like... see how animals evolve 'n stuff in a few thousand years."

The angel responds, "Oh! I see." and smiles.

Based on this post! Just wanted to stretch my comic muscles a bit ..

two clips of a thick-tailed pygmy jerboa (a small mouse-like creature) digging in the sand. In the first clip, the sand fall from in front of it as fast as it can kick it behind itself. In the second, it has made considerable progress, its hole is as deep as itself. Over the clips plays semi-intense video game music.

INTERSEX IS:

any time someone is in any kind of crisis or upheaval, offer to feed them. tell them they don't have to choose what it is if they can't make decisions, just ask about allergies and preferences and tell them you're just gonna make food happen at their house.

friend having a baby? delivery gift certificate to order food to the hospital after the kid shows up.

someone's relative passes away? offer to make them dinner.

buddy gets laid off? ask if you can order them lunch.

pal stuck in a depressive episode? offer to drive them to fucking mcdonalds, if that's what they want.

people in crisis are tired and sad and angry and the last thing most of them are doing is thinking about feeding themselves. so if you have the ability or time or money, providing that is always, always a good move.
