Which, was a lovely break from the usual flat bashing. Plus, a surprise catch up with an ol' pal too. Rounded off nicely with a trip to Garsington for a day. Bladdy lurrrrvly meht.

An enjoyable little build which allowed me to scratch the itch for designing that I get from time to time.

🏆 Mario Kart Trophy 2023 🏆

Held a Mario Kart tournament last year & created this trophy for the winner.

Design and build pictures to follow at a later date (probably).

But, more importantly, I sprayed chrome for the first time and it wasn't a complete abomination! 🎉 A... B-bomb...ination 😬

Continuing with the short film post from last week, I transformed this corridor into....another corridor. Yup, it's kinda like painting wood to look like wood, only not.

In actual fact, time constraints and zero budget (indie life) meant I didn't get this area of the set upto the level I wanted. But, looking back at it now, I think it was a real achievement considering the challenges I faced as a one man band.

Fun fact: The day before travelling to site, I  was out off work and had no idea what to do next. So, I turned freelance and here we are...  Woop woop! 2 year freelance-iversy  🎉

This is a small larp area my chum @scotts.dream.world and I created for a local business way back (hence the poor quality pictures 😬).

Many a late night was spent getting this job finished while working around the 'day job', but it was nothing a few brews and biscuits couldn't sort out!

Fun fact: it was at this point I started to use wheelie bins for workbenches, a skill that is still In good practice today! 😂
