Happy birthday Mary Shelley!
Mary was born on August 30th, 1797. She is best known for pioneering the sci-fi genre when she wrote Frankenstein at just 19.
Mary was married to Percy Shelley from 1816 until his death six years later - she also described herself as āapt to get tousy-mousy for womenā - in particular, her friend Jane Williams. Mary was also provided support for other queer people in her life - in 1827, she obtained a false passport for her friend Doddy, who was assigned female at birth, to leave England and start a new life as a married man in France.

"Are you more artistic or scientific" science is art and art is science bitch
"this! im both artistic and scientific" no shut the FUCK up you don't get it
There is no difference. None. Science and art are both fueled by passion and romance. They are cycles of understanding, intimacy, and expression that have no beginning or end, that sustain one another in a wheel. Without artistic passion there would be no science. Without scientific understanding there would be no art. They are the exact same wonder and amazement with the world around us expressed through different yet interdependent media.
This is the type of bullshit only artistic-leaning people say
i'm better than you
"I could make that abstract art, anyone could" then make it. Unironically. Go buy some paints. Do a mild googling. Do it, make the same art. See what it feels like. Find out what it inspires in you. Back in high school one kid was pretty disparaging of Jackson Pollock's art until we MADE Jackson Pollocks and it became his THING for the rest of the year. You could go into the art room on break to find him picking out colors and preparing space to make em. Try on the abstract art and let yourself forge a genuine connection to it, coward.

thereās something about living life deliberatelyā¦wearing clothes that you actually want to and that you feel reflect you and your style not just because youāve had them for years and donāt know what else you would throw onā¦.listening to songs and creating playlists that excite you and represent your actual mood not just listening to songs that youāve had downloaded for years that donāt make you feel anything special anymoreā¦itās VERY easy to stay with what youāre comfortable and it might take a bit of experimenting before you find what feels like a deliberate choice that reflects more of YOU but itās absolutely worth the leap of faith you may have to convince yourself to make in order to stop feeling like a passenger in your own life
